+Rusty & Libby Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Ebay -- Midwest Geobash at $86! That's nuts - I've been trading them away at 1:1. Winning bid was $95, !! As of now all my coins are for sale at $95 each, anyone interested please send email. Hah, whoever that was used the scan of the GB coin I made. I demand some royalties! You want a royalty! Ha! I designed the coin and I ain't got a check from eBay for any of them yet I also made all the MiGO, Ohio, and Geocoinclub coins, total royalty from sales on eBay... nada! Hmmm I wonder what an unactivated artist's copy of the MiGO seasonals would fetch on eBay?
+Team Shydog Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Rusty, I think you should sell your design skill on Ebay. Sell one personnel coin design to the highest bidder.
+Bjorn74 Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Rusty deserves some sort of medal. Unfortunately, Trippy and I would have him design it himself! He's Batman.
+RustyBeerCan Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 Keep an eye on this MIGO WINTER 2005 COIN its at $61 and only 8 day 22 hours to go Will it break $100?

+budd-rdc Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 Shouldn't Groundspeak be getting some referral fees from eBay for all the links posted on this thread?

I don't think that is right to pull a auction. Richard

Unfortunately, sometimes the seller will pull their own auction - and that ain't right.
+Lemon Fresh Dog Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 The note I recieved from eBay was that the auction was pulled due to a policy violation. What that was, I have no idea.

+Lemon Fresh Dog Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 MIGO spring geocoin went for $104 Strangely, this coin does not allow us to review the bid history to see who bid, how long they have been on eBay, if they have won auctions in the past..... $104. Wow.

Unless I am mistaken, it was that seasonal MIGO that went for $104.00 and change. With the last bid placed, Mare's coin is now only $2 shy of that mark. Go ahead, raise me...I dare ya! C4

However, the bid history was hidden -- so we do not know if it was a thrill-bidder, shill-bidding, or a legitimate completed transaction.
+AtlantaGal Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 I was also thinking the $104 MIGO seasonal coin was the highest thus far. And remember aside from the tracking difference, there are 75 less of mine Wow Cornerstone4, that's impressive! Just remember folks... legitimate bids only. So only bid if you really intend to follow through please.

+Kealia Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Nice to see that people are willing pony up for a good cause. Not to say that a 1 of 25 coin wouldn't draw high bids, but I think the fact that proceeds are going to good cause are upping hte ante. Good for y'all for participating.
