Why Can't I Download A Pocket Querie?

I have downloaded pocket queries before with no problem. Today when I go into my email and attempt to download the file I get this windows message

 

“Internet Explorer cannot open (file).

 

Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet Site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.”

 

Does anyone else have this?

I did the maximum of 5 pocket queries today in preparation for an upcoming trip. All downloaded fine for me.

I haven't used Internet Exploder . . . ever.

 

Sorry I can't give you a more informative answer, but you could download either Opera or Firefox and use one of those better, alternative browsers to access the site.

 

Opera comes with an email client, although I get my Pocket Queries through Eudora, and sometimes through my Yahoo! email address.

Well, you mention downloading and opening. Two different things.

 

Are you trying to 'open' it while it's in your email or are you trying to load it into a folder on your PC?

While it is in my email. I am doing what I have down for the last year w/o any problems.

Load any Windows Service Packs lately?

 

I only ask because sometimes there are other 'things' going on when we double click. I don't know what you might have set up.

 

I have my PQ's set to open GASK when I select it. One of my PC's can open it with no problem while it's still in the email. My new PC requires that I download it first before double clicking.
