+joefrog
I was at a festival on July 4 near Battery Park in Manhattan. These things were everywhere! Neat, neat little finger puppets! There were all color and description of these things, of every character and animal you can think of. Shrek, Fiona, Spider-Man, Hulk, SpongeBob, Little Red Riding Hood, Mtn-man and more! I wish I could've got more of them (not enough $$). I thought they were cute! Think they'd be taken, or left in the cache? Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
Too Cool-weren't there any frogs for you? I think they'd be snatched up by the first crumb snatcher to visit the cache with dad and mom. I think I would put them in small ziplocks to keep them dry and mildew free though. They look woven. Quote Link to comment
+Faith the Aquariaqueen
Those are great, and the frog would be even neater!! If you're going to do these, please make sure you put them in individual plastic bags....it disappoints me to find a neat item that has gotten damp or dirty. Great cache item. Quote Link to comment
+reveritt
If it is something that you would like to find in a cache, and it doesn't violate any guidelines, then it is a cool cache item. Quote Link to comment
+Greymane
Very nice. I always like the handmade stuff best. Quote Link to comment
+Fergus
I am a big fan of homemade trade items. Here is mine. Quote Link to comment
+Kealia
Yeah, I'm sure they would be taken. Nice items. In keeping with the 'homemade' theme of hte thread - Hula Bum and I have started making these with sheet metal and a plasma cutter (ignore the bottle opener). Before I get any emails, I'm not trading these for other sig items via mail; these are strictly for dropping in caches. Quote Link to comment

That's the worst trade item of ALL time, I'm going to stick with my McDonald's Toys as trade items. jk. Quote Link to comment
+Susieiz
Place a couple in active caches and then go back and visit the logs. If they move, then they are good! FYI: I like them. Quote Link to comment

You want one of my sig items? Be FTF on one of my caches Although, I am working on a new sig item that is inexpensive enough to leave in all caches I visit (well, maybe not micros) Quote Link to comment
+Kit Fox
My new sig item is going to be plaster casts of animal tracks, complete with the animal's profile. Examples include Coyotes, Fox, Bobcat, Mountain Lion, and Black Bear tracks. I'm still hunting for some real Kit Fox tracks. Edited July 16, 2005 by Kit Fox Quote Link to comment

+Looney Bin
We're just starting out with geocaching. Since one of us is a quilter, our trade item is a set of "geocoasters". I hope they go over well. Edited August 10, 2005 by Looney Bin Quote Link to comment
+Car54
Looney, I just checked your profile and I'm bummed. You're apparently out east and I'm here in the Midwest. I'd love to find your "geocoasters" in a cache. If you ever find yourself caching in Indiana, let me know! Mrs. Car54 Quote Link to comment

I hope they go over well. If I have said it once, I have said it a thousand times while out caching. "Kids, hand me a coaster, I would hate to leave a ring on this fallen tree" I have seen the work my wife puts into quilts. I am most impressed! Quote Link to comment
