BeenThereDunnThat
Hey everyone, We're still relatively new to the sport (closing in on 30 finds) and have started to look for locations to hide caches. The only problem I have is finding a good place to buy used ammo cans in Connecticut. Anybody out there know of a good (cheap) place? Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
+TeamAO
Local Army-Navy or Army Surplus store. Quote Link to comment

+briansnat
Look in the woods. Some people hide them filled with goodies and publish the coords in the Internet . Seriously, on the east coast we don't have a lot of gun shows and army surplus stores that sell them, so mailorder is the best route. Cheaperthandirt.com was the best place (6 for $20), but they seem to be out of them now, so try Cabelas or Majorsurplus.com Quote Link to comment
+Johnnie D and the Honey Bee's
I am not sure where you live but there is a military surplus store on the berlin turnpike in newington, and there is one in plainville that I know of. The one on the turnpike is pretty big so its safe to say you can get one there. Quote Link to comment
+Crusso
If ure near the Delaware water gap there's an Army/Navy store in Pt Jervis that has them for around $6 each. Quote Link to comment
+WalruZ
ask yourself if you really need ammo boxes. Rubbermaid hold up suprisingly well and is less threatening looking if accidentily uncovered by non-geocachers. Quote Link to comment
