+Us 4 and Jess Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 i used to receive an email of cache lists, on a friday/saturday it started from my home coords and worked its way out all the new caches that had been placed the previous week, i'm not getting it any more (or i haven't for the last 3 weeks) does anyone know why not is everyone else still receiving theirs? +Lost in Space Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Same thing happened to me a couple of months ago. Seems I had to revisit "My Cache Page" and re-sign the "Terms and Conditions" statement again. Quote

pogue mahone Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 (edited) I have not had one for 3 weeks. Neither has my wife, and a couple of friends I sometimes go cacheing with have not had one either. Edited July 10, 2005 by pogue mahone Quote
+kbootb Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 My 'new cache notification' e-mail gets swallowed by my e-mail provider's anti-spam filter on a regular basis. I often have to go into the settings and specifically allow a certain keyword. last time it was 'notification'. Also messages sent using the GC profile suffer the same fate. I have now set it not to delete messages but to pass them on with a [spam] label. I then use mail rules in my mail client to pull out the geocaching ones before consigning all the others to a junk folder. I then skim through that just in case before hitting delete all. Now I seem to be getting the post. Quote
+lathama Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 maybe you have not had one because you have no new caches around u? Quote
NickPick Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 I haven't been getting them either for the last few weeks, and there's been plenty of caches appearing nearby. I'm not sure if there's a distance limit for the 'new caches' email - mine does (well, did when I got it) up to 20 miles away or more. Quote
markandlynn Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 Turned mine off ages ago. Just be happy to recieve the pq's i pay for Quote
+Snosrap Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 I get mine irregularly. They're no bl**dy use though as all the 'new' caches have had at least half a dozen finds and several notes posted by the time they appear on the list! Quote
