+Mr Lost
I am a bit confused as to how to upload files from my eXplorist 600 into GSAK. I have saved the location of my church as a POI, and want to upload it into GSAK so that I will not overwrite it. How is this done? Quote Link to comment

Get GPSbabel from http://www.gpsbabel.org/ Open the file on your GPS with GPSbabel then convert it to a GPX and save it on your PC. Then open the GPX file with GSAK. Quote Link to comment
+Marky
I am a bit confused as to how to upload files from my eXplorist 600 into GSAK. I have saved the location of my church as a POI, and want to upload it into GSAK so that I will not overwrite it. How is this done? I might suggest an easier solution: create a new folder for POIs you don't want deleted and save POIs into that folder. Of course, this file wouldn't be active normally, so the icons wouldn't show on the map, but that doesn't mean you can't use them to route to by just going up one folder and then down into the saved POI folder and selecting the one you want. I keep a seperate folder with coords of potential locations for caches. The folder is never in any risk of being overwritten (unless the SD card were to fail). --Marky Quote Link to comment
