Turambar
I will be on vacation in Australia (I'm from Sweden), first in Sydney and later in Cairnes, and thought it will be nice do some geocaching. The Geocahing.com search is pretty hard when you never been to Australia before, and there is no maps. So, can you recommend any caches which is possible to find even for a tourist? And since it doesnt seem like this category is to much used, so I thought posting a topic here. And it seems like I did. Quote Link to comment
Aushiker
Hi Turambar You will find most "online" Australian geocachers hangout in the Australian forums at http://forum.geocaching.com.au/ I suggest you post your query there. Enjoy your time in Australia. Regards Andrew Quote Link to comment
+Tangles
Hi You can start by doing a search for caches by postcode, Sydney is 2000 and Cairns is 4870. Need to know what part of Sydney you are staying in to give good recommendations but if you are staying in the city you could try The Five Quay’s in a row cache by Philma is a good spot to start and you can walk to a few from here and take in some of the sights. Cairns is a great place if you like English backpackers if not you might want to visit Port Douglas, which is up the road a bit. Quote Link to comment
