jmq Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 We're going to be in New Orleans for my son's National Karate Tournament next week and we would like to do some caching while were here. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Quote
9Key Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 The great bamboozle would be a good cacher to contact for cache suggestions in NO. Quote
caderoux Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 You'll see a lot of Bamboozle caches on this list I recently made for another vistor. Some superb Mausdad caches, too. http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.a...43-7ca60cbd1968 I don't know if you are one of these people who avoids multis, but the multis on this list are worth it - the Chief's Specials are really hard. My Lost Cemetery is a multi at one location (not really hard). School Days is a multi across a relatively small area and is quite possibly the best multi I have ever done - pretty much each stage rates as a quality traditional. Quote
caderoux Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 Forgot to mention: There is also one TerraCache in Louisiana - in City Park - I obviously can't add it to my gc.com bookmark list, but it's a good one. There is, of course, a significant confluence in/near New Orleans (30/90), if you are into that sort of thing, too (http://www.confluence.org/confluence.php?id=107). Quote
jmq Posted July 1, 2005 Author Posted July 1, 2005 Thanks caderoux for all the info. We really appreciate everyone's input. Can't wait to check out some these caches. Quote
