+Hynr
Recently I saw a thread resurface where I had included a picture in one of my posts. Although all the words were there, the picture was missing. I had cleaned up my personal website a while ago and tossed all the temporary files including files that I had temporarily placed there so as to insert images into posts. For some reason I thought the Forum system grabbed such pictures and wove them into the threads somehow. Now I understand that only the link to the images is stored in the post. I had no idea that I would need to keep the pictures on-line indefinitely. So my question is: is there a place and mechanism, either on the Forum server or at the main website, where images for forum posts could be stored? I thought about sticking such pictures into the GC gallery for my userid, but it seems that those items are all associated with specific logs. Link to comment
+Team GPSaxophone
You can upload images to your profile, they don't have to be associated with a log. Link to comment
+Docapi
If you don't want the pictures in your profile you could get a photobucket account. Link to comment
+aerospacecase
I found a free hosting service that might work for you. www.imageshack.us You upload an image and it will generate many different links to use for various Internet sites. Here is an example: This was the winning entry to the Today's Cacher CITO photo contest last year. Link to comment
