+Team Sand Dollar
Press Mark... then "Edit LMK" There's writing on the buttons . All the buttons on my Mag315 are blank. Maybe I've been using it too much. Quote Link to comment

+Docapi
Have you tried updating the firmware? Just an Idea- the latest is 3.15. Quote Link to comment
+IVxIV
I recently dug my old Mag 315 out of my stuff/junk drawer and updated the firmware from it's original 1.xx to 3.15, just to see if it makes a lot of difference. The upgrade went well, but I haven't played with the unit enough to really notice any performance difference. It always was fairly good at finding satellites, and the firmware upgrade didn't seem to help or hurt that aspect, it still finds them. But yea try that trick on yours it can't hurt. The Mag 315 is a pretty old model now. When I bought it new I was amazed how well & quickly it found it's location. But,, comparing it now side-by-side to my newer Lowrance iFinder Pro, it just can't keep up lol. The Pro will have found enough satellites to aquire location lock by the time the 315 found one sat Quote Link to comment
