+Stuey Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 On a more positive note to my last thread about photos of travel bugs, how about we share our own favourite photos of where we have helped a TB on its' mission or just taken a photo for the heck of it? This is Yogi, who wanted to be taken to National Parks: This is Blue Boy TB by the Blue Boy statue in Princesshay, Exeter. This entire area of Exeter is now being demolished to make way for another shopping centre. and this is Snerdbe's Ferrari (love Ferraris!): Quote
+kbootb Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Cindy wanted to go to Buckingham Palace. So first we approached it from the air. Then we drew up in a horse drawn carriage. Then we posed in front of the palace. Then we tried to get through the bars This was the day after the Batman on the balcony. At this point the police started walking quickly towards me and I beat a hasty retreat. Quote
+The Hancock Clan Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 We had to go all the way to Florida to take this photo of a TB with the original 'Bigfoot' monster truck. As we were there, we also decided to take a two-week holiday! Quote
+Alibags Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 here's mine "Ellie from Bloxwich" wanted to visit India and meet real elephants. Sorted! Quote
+Alibags Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 So. Alibags. Which one is you? The one with the trunk! Alternatively, the one safely hiding behind the camera. This forum is not ready for pics of me in shorts. If you want to see me with the heffalump, go to the TB page! Quote
Deego Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 (edited) One for the trigpoint lovers Trigpoint Travel Bug. Edited June 7, 2005 by Deego Quote
+Archer4 Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 We spotted the RJ Mitchell TB in a cache in the Lakes when planning a trip. (The designer of the Spitfire) Its mission is to visit airfields but didn't think it would mind a detour to see his birthplace - a very ordinary 2 up 2 down near Stoke... Quote
Deego Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 About 5 miles from where I live. I had the TB last month Quote
Harry_Bristol_UK Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 I have only had one TB pass through my hands at the moment, but I played the game I picked up Cap'n Wee Eck who "loves being close to the water and has bet his 2 old sea-mates (Cap'n Wullie & Cap'n Fat Bob) that he can be photographed at more water locations than either of them (Sea / Lakes / Rivers / Reservoirs etc all count)" I took him to the Portishead Marina near Bristol: but managed to score a double hit for him by sitting him near my fish tank in his brief visit to my home It's crazy really, isn't it? Got to say I love the India & Florida TB adventures above, very imaginative Quote
+lordelph Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 This was my first TB, so I made a special effort... And here's a fun one for HofB's "Doughnut"! Quote
SlytherinAlex Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Silver Ferrari 355 Spyder wanted to back to his birthplace in Marenello, Italy. We took him there to the Ferarri factory and the museum next door. Quote
