  1. Snow is no deterrent to jonboy. Congratulations on breaking 200 on this cache - and still not a virtual, webcam or locationless among his finds! (We'll forgive you for those drive and dumps in Florida ) Truly hard core. Thanks also for placing some great caches. Cache on!
  2. Well done Relics, I knew you were getting close! Happy caching, GAZ ------------------------------------------------------------ I'm SURE I can get the car closer!
  3. On This cache, and they didn't even use any magic. Not too shabby for an old guy and an 8yr old girl! Way to go, Leprechauns! Tae-Kwon-Leap is not a path to a door, but a road leading forever towards the horizon.
  4. Congratulations to The Wombles on finding their 200th cache. We see they did it in style by finding the entertaining Wildcat! If this wasn't impressive enough they've also placed 39 caches! We have to say that every one of The Wombles caches that we have done has been superb. Once again congratulations on your 200th and many thanks for placing such good caches. Gary & Jane
  5. I'm getting really hooked on this PDA Geocaching thing. The problem is I really do not know alot about PDAs. I currently have a Merd-Plat GPSr. I really like the idea of not having to print out all those geo-webpages. So my question is, what PDA do you all recommend for geocaching. I'm not looking for the top of the line PDA! It should be able to do the following: (1) Be able to fill with Geo-caching webpage info (100 geo-caches for example). (2) Load Maping software (Topo and/or street maps). That way it could be a reference only for my GPSr Mapsend software. (3) If you can think of anything else useful please let me know. I'm pretty green to PDA capabilities! If the $200.00 limit is not possible for the above wishlist please feel free to suggest what PDA to use. The reason I'm looking for a fairly cheap one, is because if I drop it, I'm not out $400.00 bucks
  6. A big congrats to you Rob on getting your 200th. cache. Best wishes to you and your Family and a very merry christmas , when is the last day to send email for xmas? Nige
  7. Congratulations to The Northumbrian on hitting his 200th cache. I was beginning to think he had retired but it looks as if he is good for a few more yet. Well done.
  8. Let's hear it for Chris n Maria on their 200 today. Couldn't happen to a nicer couple - well done!. Peter _________________________________________________________ It is better to regret something you did, rather than to regret something you didn't do.
  9. Just seen that Subarite has made it to 200 today! Well done Andy, just as the tallies have been removed from the cache pages as well. Never mind, someone noticed. Looking at your list you've put in a marathon effort these last couple of days to get there. Do you still work or are you now devoting your life to the noble sport full-time now!! Congratulations again. Peter _________________________________________________________ It is better to regret something you did, rather than to regret something you didn't do.
  10. What's up with that? You can practically watch the recent logs scroll by... 200 is not enough... by the time I logged 3 caches for the day and two travel bugs we were already off the page. I don't care that I don't see my own logs there but man I must be missing stuff now ;-)...heheh no I'm not addicted... really I'm not! Jermey is this going to be the norm now? Just too much activity to keep up with?

I now have 200 posts. This is really to tease CJ since he did the same thing with 1000 posts. [This message has been edited by madphatboy2 (edited 13 February 2002).]

  14. y exciting to find something that was historically tucked away,'' he told Reuters. ``The question is, though, will the contents have survived?'' Museum archaeologists were currently cleaning the outside of the box in order to read an inscription on the casing, and would take X-rays before attempting to open it, he said. The container was found as work began on the belated erection of a 120-meter (394 feet) stainless steel spike -- intended to mark the new millennium but delayed after concerns about its environmental impact. The original monument on the site, Nelson's Pillar, was erected in 1808 but blown up by the Irish Republican Army (news - web sites) (IRA) in 1966. Wallace said the box was probably intended to remain buried for 1,000 years. ``The idea has always been there, with historical buildings, to put something away for the future, but how could these people have known the statue would be blown up?'' Note: Isn't it obvious that this is a geocache? Sure, there were no GPS satellites at the time, but perhaps they used sextants and pocketwatches. I'm sure when they finish cleaning off the box they will see the inscription reads, "geocaching.com."
