  1. I am from the GONIL (Geocachers of Northern Illinois). If we are caching in groups of 2 or more and there are muggles nearby, instead of shouting 'Found It' upon sighting the cache we tend to vocalize 'Hootie'. The theory is that it won't alert the muggles to look for the cache. My question: we say 'Hootie' - what other words/phrases are used?
  2. My girlfriends son screamed like a little girl when he found a rubber bat (cache container cammo) hanging in the tree. The scream could be heard from miles around.

  6. I am from the GONIL area (Geocachers of Northern Illinois) and a term we use when we find a cache is Hootie. I have been curious as to what term other folks shout out when they want to let the other cachers with them know that they found the cache.
