  1. Sorry if this is a repeat of another topic, but I don't see anything related on this site, so maybe this is just my problem. When I load ANY .gpx file to findcache.info/pn40, all I get is a bunch of caches at 0 lat 0 long. No actual coordinates. Has anyone else run into this issue? Has anyone had any success running the plug-in on FF 4.0 or 3.6x? To answer some questions before they're posed: 1. Yes, I updated my java. 2. Yes, I tried uninstalling FF and re-installing the plug-in. 3. Yes, I'm a moron and fully admit I'm probably missing something simple cuz I *know* that this worked a while ago. Thanks everyone.
  2. I'm very sorry, but you'll have to wait until next week to try out the new version. I hope you have a nice trip! Nate, that's mighty kind of you to wish us well. I found a "workaround" in using the internal maps to geocaching.com. semi-similar, just a little more cumbersome. looking forward to the new kml next week! or whenever.
  3. It seems like some are actually using a demo of the new kml. Is that the case? If so, where can one find this demo? We're leaving for Yellowstone Friday. If there isn't a demo of the kml, is there any chance one could be posted in the relatively near future? Thanks!
  4. If it's any comfort, I'm just now getting around to figuring out my PN-40. Left it sitting on the shelf for a number of weeks after pure frustration trying to figure out the mapping software (which I think I have figured out as of this morning). The GPSr is fairly intuitive; menus are well-structured and organized, screens are simple enough for a novice but "tuneable" to be used by a long-time GPS unit owner. The mapping software, by way of contrast, is anything but. I played with it for a couple of weeks before setting it all aside and dang near selling the unit on ebay. Nw I'm ecstatic that I held on to it. Brain cramps are normal. Fear them not.
