Parece que neste caso a culpa é toda (ou quase) dos CTT que não fizeram a entrega (nós só enviamos GPS em correio registado) e não deixaram o aviso ao Gato. Pelo meio meteu-se o nascimento do Fraldinhas e ... o GPS ainda está nos correios a aguardar o levantamento. Pela nossa parte só queremos dizer, que sempre que existir algum problema com as nossas vendas, estão 100% à vontade para esclarecer todas as questões connosco. Paulo

Concurso de “containers” A qualidade de uma cache resulta, invariavelmente, de um conjunto de factores. Um deles, o container, a caixa, o “taparuere”, influencia muito a percepção dessa qualidade. A liberdade do owner é absoluta e tudo parece ser permitido. Mas, podem existir “coisas” mais elaboradas. Aliás existem por aí várias que nos deixam de olhos em bico. Os dois principais objectivos deste concurso são: 1) puxar pela vossa imaginação e produzir containers, que depois de transformados em caches reais dêem prazer, e dores de cabeça, a quem as procure; 2) dinamizar o geocaching português numa área menos divulgada. Convidamos pois, todos os geocachers a produzirem um “container”, enquadrado nas categorias listadas mais à frente e que acompanhado de fotos e de um texto a explicar a sua utilização e enquadramento “on site”, será avaliado de acordo com os critérios referidos no regulamento. Apenas as características dos containers serão reveladas no âmbito do concurso. Os detalhes da cache (listing) não serão revelados, de forma a manter o factor surpresa se, e quando, a cache for publicada. Regulamento simplificado: 1. Os containers devem ser entregues, acompanhados de fotos e html do listing onde será utilizada (não publicado), e de uma explicação sobre a forma como será utilizada no terreno. 2. A data limite para envio/entrega é o dia 15 de Junho de 2009; 3. O Juri apreciará os projectos recebidos de acordo com os seguintes critérios; a. Originalidade; b. Criatividade; c. Conteúdo inicial (sem trackables); d. Contexto real 4. O Juri será composto por três geocachers de reconhecida experiência na actividade (ainda não convidados); 5. Os containers permanecem propriedade dos respectivos owners que serão responsáveis pela sua recuperação e serão devolvidos de acordo com as instruções recebidas (por correio ou em mão num evento). Os containers, cujos autores os resolvam oferecer, serão sorteados e/ou oferecidos durante a Geochurrascada. 6. Caso exista essa hipótese, os containers serão expostos na Geochurrascada (a participação na geochurrascada aguarda ainda a autorização por parte dos owners do evento). 7. A participação no concurso não implica o registo em qualquer site de índole comercial, nem qualquer obrigação de compra de produtos em qualquer loja específica. O unico requesito é que os participantes estejam registados como geocachers activos no geocaching.com. 8. Será atribuído um primeiro prémio em cada categoria, excepto na categoria Minicache onde se atribuirão mais duas menções honrosas (os prémios serão divulgados mais tarde). Categorias: LockandLock Modificada Vale tudo, desde que exista uma “lock&lock® ” algures. Estas caixas são de grande utilidade e para muitos geocachers são mesmo as melhores. Usem-nas com criatividade e surpreendam. Mega Box Camuflada “We mean MEGA” A única regra é que seja grande. O contentor tem de ter mais de 5L de área útil e, esse é o desafio, ser camuflada no ambiente em que prevêem a utilização. É difícil, talvez. Surpreendam-nos. Livre Não existem grandes dúvidas aqui. Podem apresentar o que quiserem. MiniCache Não, não se trata de microcaches. Queremos containers trabalhados pelos vossos miúdos . Se vais com os teus pais fazer geocaching e achas uma seca, esta categoria é para ti . Tens de ter menos de 15 anos de idade, podes pedir ajuda aos teus pais e deves enviar fotos do vosso trabalho em conjunto. A explicação da ideia deve ser tua também (faz desenhos e/ou uma composição) Entregas Os containers devem ser entregues pessoalmente, em eventos, ou por envio em correio, com indicação expressa da categoria a que concorrem e com os restantes elementos solicitados. Toca a trabalhar, a pôr os neurónios a trabalhar e supreendam-nos com a vossa imaginação. Dúvidas e outras sugestões podem colocá-las aqui, neste post, ou então através de email para mim (Plnauta) ou para o Nuno (Team Webxxi). Todo o concurso, projectos apresentados, fotos, lista de participantes e outras curiosidades terão tratamento editorial em formato blog em espaço cedido pela loja. This is a trading card game - quite addicting and money-consuming as coins That's why i left MtG a couple of years ago. That and also the fact that i start to feel a little old around all the kids playing the cards on tournaments ... Sometimes when i'm at my daughter's school and some of her friends start to play they all look to me as an old guy that wants to summon spells . I love that game... and i'm not the only one. PL

But please be aware that at this time we're doing a pre-sale! This is our first attempt to have international orders on Portuguese Geocoins and we're interested that everything goes well. But in the end some coins will be sold at Landsharkz.ca tought. I think that there are enough stories of pre-sales that end badly for customers... and we don't want to enter on those stories. I never though about it. "Canada do Inferno" means "hell's shortcut" a name that cames from the times when smugglers use the River Douro valleys. I'll post more info on the Coa Valley later. PL
