  1. My fantasy list is pretty short - I am looking for an Earn Your Stripes geocoin. I actually had one, but life and a divorce happens, and so am now looking for another. I'd even like to find two of them. Hoping to purchase, any chance that there are any roaming around out there?

    Hi dragon,

I'm selling my collection and it happens that there is one "earn your stripes" Silver, unactivated .... Just send me an offer ;)

    Thanks

    Paulo

  2. Is there anyone interested in an Avroair's Pororoca complete set?

    I'm accepting offers ;)

    Thank you

    Paulo

Sorry Wrong place for this topic.

And i just receive a phone call from a friend and he needs one to close his collection. So i must remove this offer.

    Thank you anyway.

Looks awesome Girls! Can't wait to get my hands on one (or some :anibad: ).

This one is my favourite so far. Somehow it fits perfectly my idea of Hawaii :)

  4. Hello :P

I've got mine today and i must say that they both look wonderful. I'm very pleased with the results (thanks MarK and Emma).

    Here's a couple of pictures.

    First the

    Then the

    Sunny Spain

    101010Spain.JPG

From the first one, 40 geocoins remain in the USA (I think they went to Minessota, what makes me which i was a geocoin :smile: ). All others are allready sold to Portuguese collectors (i kept a couple for last minute orders and replacements),

The second one is reserved to be sold at the event.

  6. Nice touch on the engine intake. Looks cool! Any significance to 9:51, other than the hands being at the standard "happy" position? BTW, if it was a minute earlier, you'd have 10 to 10 on the 10th!

Bah, so much for my pinpoint analysis. Just noticed that I had the hands reversed! So it's actually 1:51. A little early for tea time, so there goes another theory. :(

I was going to put them on the 10 10, but then GCF moved the date... I tried 9:19 but that didn't look good, so I ended up leaving them at the happy position.

    Hello Mark,

any chance to get one of those for my collection :anibad:

  8. Hi

just to let a small note on the listing for the Spanish Event

Please don't ask me for the Portuguese Tomar's (K)Nights Templar 10-10-10 multievent geocoin. I've sold them all, and I've got a huge list of emails to reply to

The "Sunny Spain" version is far for being sold but i'm really reserve those to the Event.

This stuff is funny, very funny. Can't wait for the 11-11-11 ;):D

  9. Well,

I don't know how the votes for this are being done Mark. I really would like to have being capable of doing an proposal, but this thing really needs an organization that would need a great preparation.

I must say that I would be at any location that would be chosen in Europe (i've discuss that with the german team aswell). I would prefer right near my home in Lisbon of course :huh: so if it makes any sense to the ones who would make the decision don't forget that the sun's brighter near the Atlantic ... ;):D

Make a wise decision and let us all know.

Thanks also Mark, for the invitation and for open the geocoinfest concept to Europe.

  10. ~A first hand account from my 2010 Mega Scotland shipments.

I shipped product from Canada to the UK and then shipped the product back that didn't sell. Based on the declared value (marked shipment low) I was charged VAT, brokerage fees and other handling fees totaling about $400 going over and nothing when it came back. I used Canada Post which then transfers cartage to Royal Mail and the reverse to send them back. Shipping was additional.

    Ouch!

    Ouch indeed !

I have several geocoin sets entering Portugal and every time the price of the stuff increases 20% just for being in the customs shelf for being inspected. I can live with that, but it's hard and i think that for most overseas vendors it will be really hard to have some profit.

Partnerships are the best solution i think.

  12. that portugese one looks awesome.

I never was able to get a NC before, so this'll be my last shot.

    Well

I'm so proud for this opportunity. When i asked Tsunrisebey to do a Portuguese Version i was expecting something good, but tsun's choices and position for the colors are amazing, and the result are much better than i was expecting.

Please Stephanie, don't be mad with me but this one is the prettiest of all Neptunes :):) Mine all mine, my precious ....

Seriously, thanks for the opportunity and all the nice geocoins you draw.

And as for the others, that are interested and started flooding my email account with requests :) please be aware that i'll sell them at my online store when they arrive to Portugal.

I'll let all know about quantities and prices later.

  13. I'm 100% positive that your pictures don't do this coin justice.

The green/gold and the black and white one look really nice and I'm sure much prettier in person.

    Congrats!

    tsun

Yeah, that's true! The coins in person are much prettier. For me the black and white its the most beautiful one.

And by the way, its a big compliment hear those words from you.

    ;)

    Hi

I'm very happy with this result. Congratulations, Diogo (and Roberto :) ). Diogo has done a very good job with this drawing and create a very good looking geocoin. Brilliant, quite different from others that have being made here in Portugal.

He should be proud of his great design artwork. And it will be nice to see the impact around Portuguese collectors (i'm on the queue for a set or two). Specially the Black and White version that is absolutely gorgeous.

  16. Hola

  18. Wow, that Harlequin version is spectacular!!

Here is what we ended up doing for Santa Cruz. I tried every which way complex patterns and ended up going with one of the simplest coloring schemes we came up with.

It has no color, and some of the lines will be recessed. So please don't be scared off by the huge black on the back!

Nice one again MArk... i guess that there are plenty of space for a great number of color combinations again.

Count me in for a couple of versions for Portugal and Spain.
