  1. I had the same problem as lost rabbit. In another thread someone recommended going to 'tools' , 'compatibility' then add geocaching.com. It worked, caches are now sent to my Oregon 400t with no problem.
  2. This is the only one I know of.....GC1G844. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...ca-643309876bfb.
  3. Sorry for your loss. This is an excellent topic and one that should be seriously addressed by Groundspeak. Perhaps an addition to the account page, a living will so to speak would serve, then Groundspeak would have prior permission to addopt the caches out, or, you could specify who would inherit them. As for myself I will address this issue ASAP, as I've invested a lot of time placing caches and dread the thought of them becoming unavailable or even worse...trash. We have a close community of cachers in our area and I would prefer that they inherit the treasures and keep the spirit of them alive for future cachers. Thanks for the topic. Darr
  4. With 80 hides, all of them are going strong. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...d8-66e7835d200f was my first one and has held up well.
  5. Not mentioning any names, but I know of one cacher that has a couple of 'aliases'.
  6. My wife and I have a perfect relationship - I cache and she doesn't. When I return home with tales of adventure she smiles and pretends to be interested, she's the greatest. Likewise, when she does something exciting like yardsaleing I pretend to be excited for her. It works well for us.
  7. I think placing a cache is much more fun and rewarding than finding one and the fun keeps coming in the form of e-mail. Making the containers unique seems to bring the best comments from Geocachers. I placed #40 yesterday and have been working on #41 today, great fun. And, while we're praising administrators I'd like to give a big THANKS to 'High Country Administrator'.
  8. Place it and they will come, at least I will. If you post it I'll try to find it. Sounds fun.
  9. Hiding is a lot more fun for me. The developement of the container, finding the perfect location, creating a name and cache page and finally the correspondence with the cachers that find it; much more satisfying than a find. Although, I've had a few finds that were rewarding, usually the tougher to find multis at great locations.
  10. When you have to bring your sandwiches to work in wax paper.
  11. And all this time I considered myself an Observer, I didn't feel like a Lurker.
  12. Congrats on #200, I just crossed that line myself.
  13. I appreciate the feedback and will procede with these thoughts in mind.
  14. I'm planning a multi that covers a two block downtown area in a small town in Western Colorado. I have laid out the route and cache locations and it will take 6 stages to do it right, all micros. Is this too much to ask of my fellow cachers?
  15. This cache has reported bites by multiple goecachers ; "SC3" (GC149YY)
