i got hassled by the cops before i even entered a waypoint into my unit!...waiting for my partner outside of 7/11 when i was approached by 2 cops wanting to know what i was doing, where i lived, how long, who my partner was, etc...things are getting ridiculous out there!

or save some more $$$ and get a 101...not sure why downloading waypoints is such a big deal either

i hit one of these when i was out in wyoming and it was nice to meet the owner...liked the idea so also have one in my yard and have been fortunate enough to meet a few of my fellow cachers...while these might not be everyones cup of tea, think it behooves finders to read descriptions and not just download waypoints

in previous threads, there have been attempts to glean what we all have in common: given other posts, clearly not religion, views on gun-control, or capitalism...not even being techno-geeks....but i think we've stumbled upon a common (albeit not universal) denominator: love of maps....i too thought i was the only one so obsessed!

while we're on the topic (and this thread seems to be petering out), is anyone else just a bit miffed w/the members only caches?...i understand that your $30 gets you uploads and ot forums, but thought idea was to have free access to caches....(i know, i know...$30 isn't that much and there are plenty of non-member caches; just seems a little elitist for no apparent reason)

i'm so obsessed that i kept bugging team bam-bam to move my 1 and only tb...they eventually did...right into the path of a hurricane...now i'm bugging some poor beleagured fla resident to go go check on the cache!

i almost had a legit reason to do so yesterday...i placed a new cache and later realized i was "battery save" when i took my coords so i decided to go back later in the day to make sure the coords were decent: they weren't and it took me over a 1/2 hour to find my own cache!...worked harder on this one than i have in a long time!
