Well done "you" and Daisy. I bet there aren't many dogs luckier than geocaching dogs for the amount of different places they get to go on walks! THE BRAMBLERS - including MEGAN - woof!

Well Done To Bill D (wwh) On His 100th Find.
THE BRAMBLERS replied to The Wobbly Club's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
We noticed the new cache come up late this afternoon and commented that we thought Bill would be FTF, but he got there even quicker than we thought. Well done Bill and congratulations on reaching 100 finds. -
We reckon he might be aiming for the 1000 on his caching anniversary on the 29th March. Might be a bit of a struggle but if anyone can do it, Seasider can. No doubt the champagne is already on ice. WELL DONE!!!

Well done Paul and Michael on reaching 200 finds while out caching with us today. 6 caches in 1.5 hours, pretty good going.

Try this site http://www.iengrave.co.uk/shop/en-gb/dept_1.html. They have pet tags, very similar to those you are looking for. Available in large or small starting at £1.20 each. Hope this helps. Debbie -
Tha Gavotteers Meke Their First 100!
THE BRAMBLERS replied to Daisy&me's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
Congratulations on reaching 100 finds. While you were out doing your 100th, we were doing one of yours. Well done. -
Congrat's from us too, albeit a bit late. Shame about the kids, they do have their uses. It's like having your own interactive pokey-sticks. Maybe a bit of warmer weather might bring them back out. Suppose now you're just "Motley".

That's excellent news. Great to see the FC on board in North West Wales. (One of our favourite areas). Good work! -
Quote Eckington I may be a lot behind the times here

Paul Blitz Deego Don't know about running for the first to find, but some of them certainly ran faster than they'd ever run before, on the way back to the showground after the night cache. Debbie and I were asleep in our tent completely out for the count, when we were awoken suddenly by the sound of screeching tyres and people screaming. A group of cachers headed up by who else but "OMALLY" and Rob (Brambler) had surprised the security guards who later said that they had been so terrified at the sight of this "mob" emerging out of the blackness and heading towards them that the only thing they could think of doing was to drive at them at speed. Apparently, there were a few lucky escapes as cachers hurled themselves over nearby embankments. The skid marks in the car park the following morning were testiment to the previous night's activities.

Hcc Stag Beetle Tb's Amazing Start
THE BRAMBLERS replied to THE BRAMBLERS's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
MarcB The other two must be the homely types, or scared of flying. The Giant Wood Wasp and the Purple Emperor Butterfly are still in the UK. The Wasp has been moving steadily but we think the Butterfly must have gone into hibernation so we sent an email today to try and stir it into action; it hasn't moved since September. -
School children who have been tracking the Stag Beetle TB must be delighted with it's massive 21,000+ mile journey since it's release from the HCC Winchester 2003 Event on July 19th. This figure doesn't include a documented but unlogged tour across Europe. It has already crossed 3 continents, and has recetly landed in South Africa. Thanks to everyone who has helped it on it's way. Anyone else got any high mileage travel bugs?
-
While on the subject of travel bugs, a team today visited a cache with one of our TB's listed to be inside. However, when they looked inside the cache there was no TB to be seen. This is so disappointing especially as it was sent on it's way by our youngest son James. If anyone is reading this note and has got NIMMY or has seen him recently please could they either log it or email me. Thanks Debbie

Well done Team Paradise on reaching your first century, and thanks for your technical expertise. Debbie and David P.S. David would like to know where that good fishing spot was, on the Basingstoke Canal.
