Birthday mission received: Yes! April 9

Finally my birthday package arrived, but I knew it would be a little late after reading E&Cplus3's post a few days ago. Don't worry about it beeing sent late, I enjoy it just as much, if not more, even if it's a little late.

A very promising brown box was waiting in my mailbox today! I opened it and found a bunch of wrapped things in there. I was too eager to open them to think of getting a "before picture", but I do have an "after picture".

So many goodies! Several are Canadian themed; a flag, a compass, a raincoat (I live close to the sea, it will be useful), a very pretty glass pendant, a wooden A as the first letter in my name, a coffee crisp candy bar (still trying to save it for a little later, but it won't survive for long) and of course the COINS! I love them all! Thank you!

A Pathtag Transporter coin, a ISAF/CA coin and an Atlantic Canada Souwester coin. All very pretty coins! Thank you!

Fronts and backs are mixed above. Lovely coins!

  2. Received my coin today! Amazing!

I knew from the pictures it was going to be detailed but it doesn't change the fact that I'm very impressed by the details. I will spend the next couple of days admiring my tree.

  3. ...

And also, Happy Birthday to Mufflon (March 10)

    Thanks!

A week past my birthday now and still nothing in my mailbox. :)

I have to admit though, it's more exciting than usual to check the mail. I can live with that for a while longer. :D

My outgoing mission is not sent yet, it's an April birthday and I plan to mail it next week or so. Will update when I do.

I finally got the package ready to be mailed today. It's not going that far, so it should arrive in good time before christmas.

I also sent a little something to our hard working host, Butterfly lady.

Picked up a large box from the post office yesterday. :D Wow!

The good stuff in it seemed to never end. Lots of candy, scented candles, very cute snowman, a fun pen ... it just goes on. Did I mention the socks with santa flamingos? :D I still havn't opened the two wrapped presents. Will I hold out until christmas? Hmmm... I'm not making any promises here. :D (The candy however, will not last until christmas. At least I'm sure of something.)

And of course, the coins. Two beautiful coins. Love them! Thank you!

    Not the best pictures, sorry.

Thank you so much! A wonderful package! I'm very happy about everything in it. :D:D:D

  6. Would all this include packages say that we send thru UPS or Fed Ex from US to overseas? Or is this just for postal service? Im just trying to understand so we dont stick it to someone.

If sending a large package would it be better to split up into several small packages?

    Thanks in advance for answers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, all kind of shipping services. Fed Ex and UPS too.

Split up packages can be better if it keeps the value of each package down. (But it can be more expensive for the sender though.) But, if divided into several smaller ones, send them a couple of days apart to be sure. I have heard of people getting several small orders from the same sender be put together by customs and charged VAT for the whole amount. One by one they would have slipped through.

Also, gift or not gift, it depends on the value if VAT is charged.

Look at what I found in the mail today! :) A box filled with wonderful things. A book about the Moravians and their town of Salem, a post card, a can filled with ginger cookies, a glittery star, a pretty Geoguitar AND a Geotag.

Thank you so much! I love it all!

(The cookies are delicious and makes me think of christmas, and so does the star decoration.)

  8. 4). Coin & Souvenir Mission Received-May 12,2008

WOW!! Look at all the goodies I received from Mufflon! How lucky can a girl get! Thank you so much for the postcards, patch, travel book, adorable little Moose, seashells, and Sweden Geocoin. I'm sorry the pictures aren't the best, but everything you sent is very much appreciated!

Falkenberg looks truly BEAUTIFUL! How lucky it must be to live there!

I´m glad you liked them! :)

(And yes, I am lucky, it is beutiful here. I have only lived here for about 2 years. Really like this place.)

  9. Great idea! Fantasic coin! I like it a lot! Ordered a set of course. :D

I have not tried naked caching, but from what I read here not much should stop me. I live in Sweden, we have no poison oak or ivy here, ticks yes, but it would be easier to spot them right? Thorny bushes could be avioded ... Well, hmmm, have to think about this a little :D

  10. If no ones said it before - THANKS to Landsharkz for undertaking all the work to make us a great coin.

And... we understand the delays - you'll find not a single complaint from the CinemaBoxers.

I fully agree here. THANKS to Landsharkz for undertaking all the work to make us a great coin.

I too understand the delays. I´m sure it will be well worth the wait.
