  11. Hi Happy New Year to All. I have a Garmin 62s. I can remove the gpx files by connecting my PC, that part is simple. I have one file that is marked as found. Try as I might I cannot remove it from the GPS. I have also tried a factory reset, no joy. I have tried making it a waypoint and deleting that, but the file is still there. Any advice apart from throw it away will be appreciated. Many thanks. Colin

  18. Hi We have 5 PQs set up for Sunday every week. Today on switching on We have 82 multiple queries. What has gone wrong with Geocaching.com. Have they been playing again. If it ain't broke don't fix it! Now I will have to go and delete most of them. Colin
  19. I asked Brad about the "not contacted" bit actually. He said that he is sending emails right before he archives them. Perhaps you should check your email again, or check spam filters. I had checked my emails, I used to be, before I retired an IT Information Analyst within the MoD so I think I know when I have not received emails. I contacted the reviewer who also said that the email was sent prior to archiving. I asked him to send it again and received it almost instantaneously. It is not the fact that they archived the caches, it is just the way they went about it! There end of my rant!
  20. Has anyone else had this trouble, so far I know of three cachers not receiving them. My problem is that some get delivered and others do not! Most frustrating as this has only happened since they updated the website.
  21. The very same reviewer archived one of our caches. It was The UK Retirement Home. He done it without even contacting us first. Shame this game is taken by some so seriously, after all it is still a game.
  22. We have just seen the news about the poor chap taking photos. It was not a proper Policeman but a plastic Police Community Support Officer. If only they found out just what was legal or illegal before they pounced on the chap. Little Hitlers most of them!!
  23. The MoD has informed Ofcom of the following GPS jamming exercise: Dates: 30 November to 4 December 2009. Times: Up to two one-hour slots per day between 10:00hrs and 16:00hrs.
