Thanks for all of the interest shown in this. We feel it is well worth the effort of doing. Thanks to Christine too of Rebel Alliance who has allowed us to use the 1st Sheffield and Peak District Meet as a kick off point for the race. We haven't had e-mails from SlytherinAlex or The Hokesters - do we assume from this that you are going to the meet? The website will be up and running shortly and those who have shown an interest will be e-mailed the website address. Good Luck all of the bugs and their owners!! -
As the time comes round again to thinking of the new football season, we thought that it would be a jolly spiffing idea to have a Travel Bug race . The aim of which to get your Travel Bugs going to caches near to the Football League's 20 Premiership grounds. We have made a list of the nearest 3 caches to each of the grounds (or the nearest 6 in the cases of Liverpool and Everton, and Chelsea and Fulham) and the Bugs will score goals for each of the 'grounds' visited. We will have a league table in proper Premiership fashion. There will be prizes for the winner - the one with most goals, or the first to 20! There will be some hidden mystery prizes for grounds visited If you would like to take part in this Travel Bug race, in the first instance please contact us though our profile. We will set up a website if there is a fair amount of interest shown, with links to the football clubs, appropriate caches, photos of the TBs and a League Table. IT WILL BE FREE TO ENTER We would like to launch the Travel Bugs at the 1st Sheffield and Peak District Meet on the 6th August - so you can either bring them along or send them to us and we will distribute them accordingly. Whatdya Think?!?!?

John NW replied to Phil and Ruth's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
What can be done about caches that have been temporarily disabled yet there have been logs since saying that it is obviously up and running again. Can reviewers reinstate them? - As the cache owner obviously isn't going to. -
