Thanks, I finally found a previous post with the same question.

Does anyone know how to remove mapsource topo maps from a Legend C? I know how to display or not display them once they are uploaded, but I can't figure out how or if I can actually remove a map once it's transferred to the unit. Thanks in advance for any help.

Anyone have any ideas as to why the track distance would differ from the trip computer when both were started and stopped at the same time? This was with an etrex Legend. Track read 11.47 miles, trip computer read 10.8 miles. Thanks

Can anyone tell me how to get MS S&T to recognize my etrex legend? According to the help file, I need to install the gps (as in add hardware) on the computer. Haven't found any windows drivers for a gps.

Thanks for the help everyone. I contacted the company and they said that they combined both types of files. I'm not sure why though. To JJW: In the topo folder, the old version is now called TOPO2. The old tpo files are now tp2 files.

Has anyone else found that when upgrading N.G. TOPO state series to 3.3.2, there's no way to save or create .tpg (gps data) files.

During the original installation, some of the maps are installed automatically. All you have to do is drag and drop the additional maps to this same folder, and everything should work fine. At least that's what I did with TOPO

I think you're mistaken about the Vista. You must be talking about some other model. If you can get a Vista for $135.00, you should buy it.
