Traveled with mine last week. Carried it on in my laptop case on my outbound flight. No problems or questions by TSA. Put it in my suitcase on my return flight.

My first GPSr was a Garmin Etrex. Bought it about 6 years ago to use on a sailboat in the Carribean. Just got started in Geocaching this January and used the Etrex for a while. I just upgraded to a Garmin GPSmap 60CSX last month so I could download maps.

Looking for a New Mexico Geocoin. Will purchase or trade. Only coins I have for trade are Ohio Canal Geocoin or a Michigan Geochachers (MiGO) 2007 Mackinac Bridge or MiGO 2006 Gratiot Lighthouse Geocoin. Would you be able to help out this newbie?

I don't find any explanation in the manual describing what the "Battery Saver" mode does. Other than the obvious: "saves batteries" what does this Battery Saver Mode do differently than the "Normal" mode?
