  1. I agree with you, but I guess the reasoning is that if they never go without you, they are the same team as you and thus one account should suffice.
  2. The A-Team could put ads on his puzzle site and then he would benefit from the linking as well But yes, I agree asking would have been the best from the CO.
  3. If I understand you correct, than any EU SIM card should meet your needs, as the service provider is legally obliged to grant you the data you bought in the EU countries. As said before, be careful if the data is valid also in Switzerland and Liechtenstein
  4. Take a look at locus maps or even more simply the Geocaching app
  5. Take a look at locus maps - not sure though of it supports os coordinates, but it seems powerful enough that it could
  6. Hi, Did you make sure to check the boxes that you comply with the guidelines? Except of that.. No idea
  7. My advice would be getting a SIM card once you're in Amsterdam, but make sure that: * You can use all the data volume outside the Netherlands (but still in the EU) (there are laws how much the service provider has to grant you in the EU, but that depends how much you pay for the SIM card) * If you intend to visit non EU countries (for example Switzerland), make sure they are covered too
  8. A useful advice that I once read somewhere: Keep an offline copy of the HTML of your about section (Although that won't help you now, but in future it could save your banner collection) Good luck in getting those banners back!
  9. A local SIM would definitely cheaper and thanks to the EU you don't pay roaming should you decide to visit another country of the European Union during your travel.
  10. Alternatively you could use the Microsoft translation app which does text recognition and offline translation. (If I remember correctly you can highlight any text on your device and then it supplies the option to translate it, but I'm not sure of that)
  11. A useful resource for that is project-gc.com where you can get maps of caches matching these criteria. I didn't try downloading them from that site, but I am sure there is some way for that. Try their forum if you need help.
  12. For the android maps you can use openandromaps.org, they provide good maps for the whole of Europe and more. I've been Geocaching in Prague without speaking Czech and can't remember having any problems. I don't know if you've been to a country before where you couldn't understand the language, but humans are pretty good at communicating with each other without talking each other's language. (And most people talk some English) So don't worry and enjoy your holiday!
  13. I think it would help if you would make it a site which collects epic caches and selectively publishes them, no matter who found them. But that would be more time consuming for you as administrator. Still, I think it would make your site great and be worth it.
  14. So anyone can put up suggestions for epic caches and you select which ones are published?
  15. I should have looked on multiple Cache reviews.. The one in Ireland has an "epic Cache checklist", I thought each one had this. So I expand my feature suggestion to putting this checklist on top of each epic Cache and allow filtering for it.
  16. I usually log at the end of the day, recounting the caching day a bit and then some lines for the specific Cache. My logs don't end up being novellas, but I hope they describe my experience and give ideas how one could have a nice experience.
  17. Any watertight magnetic box would make the work, on the other hand that's not too interesting and really obvious.
  18. I'm sorry, I can't find any place to filter the epic caches, except for Events / Puzzles / experiences / epic Geocaches. Still using mobile Firefox
  19. I really like the epic Geocaches section, once you have more caches listed, it would be nice to add the possibility to filter the caches by the boxes they tick. In the Super map section the possibility to select the filters won't close on mobile Firefox.
  20. Well, you can now turn the map for example and I guess the symbols in the right top corner are also changed. But I agree that it would be nice if changes were communicated in more detail.
  21. I have a disabed cache, but apparently it doesn't hava a low health score, as it is not shown. A togglebutton to show / hide your disabled caches in this tool regardless of the healthscore would be nice. For example, if someone is aware that their caches need maintenance and have consequently disabled them, some people would like to be reminded of this, whilst others might prefer not to.
  22. Hi, It is not allowed to publish any solutions for mysteries. Try contacting the owner or visit a local event where you might get help.
  23. Advanced search with filters for your finds only and then show on map. Though that only works if you have less than 1000 finds, otherwise it will display the closest 1000 finds.
