I seen a post back in April on aother site where this case was made in black. Are there color choices for this case or the standard "Artic White" that I see on Amazon?

I just got mine in the mail and applied it today. It says it will take 2-3 days to work out the imperfections. So far it looks pretty good. More input to come later. PS Foarm or not to Foarm is the next question. Does this case come in black? I seen some pictures posted on another site in April 2007. http://www.gpslodge.com/archives/010706.php I might look into a camera case of some sorts versus the Foarm case for total storage protection when I am not using the gps. What do you think?

I guess a better question would be if anybody uses this case for their extrex?

I am looking for ideas for a case to store this unit. Some of the cases that are made seem to be a little big for the extrex models (010-0117-02). Any ideas close to this case would be appreciated.

The default setting here is to be locked on the road. To change it from Main Menu: SetUp Menu-Map-General (upper icon furthest to the left)-Lock on Road-Off. The defaults are set up as if the unit will be used for driving over hiking. If you haven't done so already, you may also want to change the default for auto-routing on road. I set mine to be prompted to route on-road or off-rode. Main Menu-SetUp-Routing-GuidanceRoadMethod-Prompted. So the "prompted" when going off road or on road will send you a message when it happens? I am still learning my GPS so any insight would be appreciated.

Any other issues that need to be fixed or is this the last "major" one? Looks good so far...

I believe I conveyed accurate information after doing a forum search and pulling up the many past threads on this episode. How do you reset the unit to "all factory default setting"? I have messed around with the unit changing little things here and there but I want to know how to reset everything in case I mess things up. Thanks in advance.
