Thanks for all the replies to my previous post. Now I just need a personal trackable coin, a CC coin & a GeoBash coin. I have available to trade: NJ, MD, NY*, NM*, PA*, South Africa, Christmas*, Mt McKinley*. I will also trade a NEFGA Jeep (plus possibly one other) for a GeoBash only. Email if interested. *=on order

I have an unactivated MIGO NJ and MD to trade. I also have South Africa and a NWPA Keystone coin to trade. Also NY, NEFGA, NEFGA Jeep, PA, NM & EU coins (all on order) I am looking for Pewter TN, Ohio, Colorado, a CC coin, a german coin or a Geobash coin. Email me through gc.com if interested.

If indeed the coin is missing from the cache, then the coin wasn't "muggled" the person who "stole" it was a geocacher. When you take travel bugs or coins for the purpose of keeping them forever (without the owners permission) then you are stealing. However virtualcheater just seems to be somebody who created an account to log bugs and coins where the number is in the name or showing in a picture. Harmless and totally preventable, imo.

You have me down for 2 silver, and I had also asked to be added on for 2 bronze as well. (2 each = total 4) Thank you!

Whats The Farthest Cache You Have Hunted
OurWoods replied to cad-guy's topic in General geocaching topics
I live in NY and travelled to both Nashville and Jacksonville specifically for geocaching (and hopefully Texas next year). You might call them "geo-vacations." I hitched a ride with some friends who were going to Montreal once just so *I* could grab a cache. I've also gone to MD just to cache and frequently drive to Erie PA to cache (175 miles) just for a day. There are tons of caches around me that I haven't found, but I love to travel. Love of travel (specifically in the car) and geocaching are a deadly combination. =) I tend to stick to local caches in the winter though, as I hate driving in the snow. Bleh. -
Any chance on an AirTran Discount? They sometimes offer up to 10% discount and are often cheaper anyway. Just a thought don't know too much about it. airtran

Gas Prices Impacting Your Geocaching?
OurWoods replied to AppaYipYip's topic in General geocaching topics
Gas is $3.60 to $3.75 here... that is impacting daily caching. At this point I'm only traveling to events and other places where I booked hotels long ago. :-( -
If you make it so people can only buy 1 coin I think they would be less likely to trade them, instead keeping them for their personal collection. If you go that route I would take 1.

put me down for one! Thanks!

I'd take 2 or 3 trackable coins..
