  3. I recently bought a Garmin GPSMAP 60 and US Topo. Although I am please with the topo map, I will use it in other regions other than flat slopes of NC, I am looking for Mapsource City Select or Mapsource City Navigator (with unlock codes). The main reason is that when I'm caching, I'm mostly using my compass. There's nothing like being a half mile from the next cache and your GPSr tells you that, by highway, it's 9 and a half miles away. Of course, I go offroad and use the compass. It works, don't get me wrong. But I would love to have the street names. If anyone has an idea of how to update the street names through Google Earth please let me know. Also, does anyone know which would be better in my case with the Garmin GPSMAP 60, the city select or the city navigator. I live in city areas and rural areas. I would need something that could give me highways, roads, and backroads. Thanks for taking the time to check this out. Cache on! Smithfreak
  4. www.myspace.com/derekthall Just type that in as it says. No need to go to myspace and then look it up. I have a url on the musicians side of myspace. I've recently signed a deal with snocap to download my music. I am currently on christian radio. I hope you enjoy. Musician/Cacher - sounds like it could be a good profile underscore. What do you think? Smithfreak (my son's name is Smith. I'm crazy about him.)
  5. I have an Etrex Vista, not the "C" that I am interested in selling. Email me at markshawracing@yahoo.com if you are interested. I just bought a Garmin GPSMAP 60, thanks for responding though. Happy Caching! In JC, SF
  6. That's right, I meant Garmin! New to this but from what I've heard, this is the way to go. If anyone has any insight into where to buy this map cheaper or has one for sale, please let me know.
  7. Sounds good. You can get in touch with me tomorrow on my cell to discuss payment. If you use Paypal only, I'll have an account set up. How long have you been caching? Is the premier membership worth it, and would you be able to tell me if the topo map that I should be looking for is the American TOPO? It seems that purchasing that will give me access to trails and offroads I wouldn't have seen before! Thanks for your quick response. My family is excited and the device you're selling sounds great for our first GPS! We can't wait to get going. Sincerely, Smithfreak
  8. Price reduced to $150... Would you take $130
