  1. After clicking on the advanced cache search option from the geocaching home page, I would love the option to filter for certain cache types. For example, seach for everything except virtual caches. Or search for only multi-caches. I did a quick search for this in previous threads, and didnt come up with much like it...I apologize if its been brought up already. My time, your time is limited, but time itself is unlimited.
  2. Youre going to be happy with whichever you buy, as long as you compare, and just go for the features you really want. My current, and first, gps is the eTrex Legend. I love it. Has a decent base road map set and internal memory. Very nice size. Feels like a cell phone in my hand, and the button placement if very comfortable and ergonomic. I used this page A LOT when deciding which one I wanted to go for. Being my first gps, I didnt go all out for the most pricy of course. My time, your time is limited, but time itself is unlimited.
  3. while looking at your friend's vacation pictures, youre picturing where you could place a cache. My time, your time is limited, but time itself is unlimited.
  4. After seeing this thread, I went to check out the shirts. I didnt extect to see 10 and 15 bucks for the prices on short and long sleeves! These shirts look great, and I will definately be ordering a couple. My time, your time is limited, but time itself is unlimited.
  5. If you do a google search for 'outdoor key hider', you will get a decent return of results. Here are a few I found: DoItBest.com Rock Key hider VERY strange looking toad key hider. A little pricy. Scroll down a bit to this one. Dunno about this place. The interesting thermometer key hider And last but not least.... The ever popular and personal favorite, Pile Of Poop Key hider. Scroll down a bit to see this one. My time, your time is limited, but time itself is unlimited.
  6. One store I found searching for them: The Added Touch Keystone This was the only place I found that had them after a little hunting. Ive had one for years, and on the bottom key slide cover, it says "Mary Ellen's Keystone". A search for that didnt come up with anything special. 8. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=48353 The comments on this cache depict what might happen when Park staff have to follow the rules, but keep in mind, most do have an open mind. The Park Ranger in the comments is a personal friend of mine, and was partially responsible for that park allowing, supporting, and promoting geocaching. 9. As Im new to caching myself, I cant give you any great advice and being in the TN area, it'd be a long drive, but I did enjoy your story. Dont give up! Hope you find some cache-mates. My time, your time is limited, but time itself is unlimited.
  10. Being fairly to new this realm, I stumbled upon the state maps, and was showing them off to a fellow newb-cacher. I was really impressed by them, so I cant wait for the new ones. My time, your time is limited, but time itself is unlimited.
  11. Like stated above, I love visiting places or parks that I otherwise would have never seen. I like getting out and hiking with a purpose and goal. I love the thrill of the hunt. My time, your time is limited, but time itself is unlimited.

  13. I just got my etrex legend tonight, and inserting the lanyard, I thought "hrm, this looks like the only weak point on the case. I bet this will be the first thing to go". It just looked a little flimsy...little plastic bar. But with a little care, Im sure it will last. My time, your time is limited, but time itself is unlimited.
