  3. This Item is not sold yet and I will drop the price to $125.
  4. This item has not sold yet. I have not talked with anyone about it. If you are interested let me know.
  5. This would be a great buy for anyone who wants to take it apart and play with the electronics or for parts.
  6. Make me an offer I want to get rid of this thing.
  7. This is the original Streetpilot. Non color screen. I purchesed it in about 1997 or 98 I can't remember.
  8. This is the original Garmin StreetPilot (discontinued with Garmin). It is functional and comes with a serial cable and cigarette lighter power cord. Make an offer for it. Also I have a few pictures of it but I can't figure out how to post them here.
  9. I have a Magellan Triton 400 for sale. I would like about $150. This unit was only used for a few trips out caching. It comes with the USB cable and all of the original information but no box. It was a warranty return for a broken explorist but Magellan accedently sent me a explorist as well and I am going to keep that.
  10. I too have found 2 benchmarks not far from eachother that have no info on them. I know the area where thay are placed was built summer of 1999. It is a new marina on the North Shore of Lake Superior. The two benchmarks are placed into the concrete curb which runs along the access to the slips. The cords (as good as I could get them from the GPS out of the car but should be good for with in a few feet) for each of them are as follows: Mark #1 N 47 16' 16.99" W 91 16' 23.29" Mark #2 N 47 16' 19.14" W 91 16' 28.79" Let me know what more info is needed and what to do next.
  11. I just got a replacement unit from Magellan it is an eXplorist 500 and the last time the firmware was updated was in 2006 is there a new version out there? If so can someone tell me what the latest version is and where to get it.
  12. What is the latest word from all of you new Triton 400 owners out there? The forum has been a little quiet from this topic in the last few days. I have been having some issues with my eXplorist 210 for a few months now and finally Magellan wants to replace it with a Triton 400. This makes me a little worried. I am going to do it since I already have a spare unit that works fine. If I have to keep the Triton 400 on the shelf as a bookend at home for a little while untill they have some new firmware that works I am ok with that. I guess I have only one question right now and this is does the new Triton work at all?
  13. I would be willing to buy it for $100. there are a few others being sold in like new condition for right around $100.
  14. I would be interested in it for about $125.

What is the difference between a Shared Bookmark and a Public Bookmark? If I understand this right I choose who can see a Shared Bookmark and a Public Bookmark is for anyone to see. How do I share a Shared Bookmark with a friend?
  16. Thank you for the replies. I would love to see this kind of search at geocaching.com.
  17. Is there anyway I can make a list of my favorite Bookmark list (not my lists). There are some very nice lists that people in my area have made public that I would like to continue to take a look at from time to time. I need to know how to keep track of them.
  18. Ok I have a Magellan eXplorist 210, Laptop with GSAK, I am a Premium Member, and I just downloaded VantagePoint. I am not a big fan of it but the one thing it does is show me a map of where all of the geocaches are in my area (after I upload them to it). My Questions is does GSAK have the same offline mapping capabilitys? Meaning Can I somehow use my mapes from Magellan which I have on CD from when I bought my GPSr on GSAK... Or what not very expensive mapping softwear can I find that I can do it with. I only ask this question here because I do like VantagePoint for that reason. Otherwise I am a VERY DISSATISFIED coustomer of Magellan and for that reason alone I don't want to use any of there stuff anymore if and when I don't have to. I hope this ramble of words makes some kind of sense...
  19. I am in the same boat with Magellan Customer Service and about on the same time line. I have been waiting for about 2 months for a new USB cable and have called for information regarding it about 6 times now. Thank you for your post regarding this and I am going to call again on monday using your info. I think all of us Geocachers who have been in the run around with Magellan should get together and try to get some results. I also know that the next GPSr I get is not going to be Magellan.
  20. This is how it has been for me. 45 days 5 phone calls 4 different answers of why I have not recieved my new usb cable for a dumb a** USB cable that I don't think is that problem of why my 210 will not connect to my computer.
  21. It is not the Comm port problem. My USB works for other things like a printer. The GPSr and USB cable don't work in this computer or my other computer. Any one else with any good advise? I just talked with Magellan Tech Support and they think it is a USB cable but I don't think this is it. but the are going to send me a new one anyway. I am about ready to throw this thing accross the room
  22. Ok I have just tried all of the advice you have given me and It still doesn't work. I have not been able to upload and caches for about a week and I really want to go out caching. Please Help Anyone
  23. I have a eXplorist 210 and when I try to hook it up to my computer via USB connection I get a error message saying " USB Device not recognized". I have hooked this GPSr up to this computer many times and not had any problems. Any one have any Ideas what is going on.
