So many people value different things in a caching experience, a simple 1-5 star rating wouldn't mean much (whether fancy statistics were done or not). One cacher's 2 could be another's 5. I like the idea of allowing a cacher so many votes - top 10 list (or 10% of what they have found) and have the icon on their log be a special symbol, maybe a note that this cache is on X cachers top 10% list and that list available on their profile. I have found my enjoyment of caches matches some in my area and is very different from others. This system would let me know what to expect from the cache based a few other select cacher's opinions

I ordered a Legend in March 2002 and got it within 1-2 weeks with no problems. I guess I was lucky. I'll try another company next time - no point in pushing it.

Almost every response (if not all) was from a husband about whether his wife liked to geocache. In my case, I'm the wife and I'm lucky to get my husband to go caching with me. When he agrees, I pick out 1/1s or 2/2s. He'll have fun if we don't spend too much time searching. Any other ladies in/near Austin, TX that need a caching partner let me know!

While reading various discussion groups, I have seen many comments and references to MOCs. So today I decided to see if there were any in my area, but I couldn't figure out how to find them. I couldn't find a special search for MOC caches...do they show up in the regular list with the public caches with a special flag? How do I find out if there are any MOCs in my area?

It is true about going high tech and never looking at a pile of rocks the same again...I did do Dan's Great Hills cache and was amazed at the spiders...eeek
