  1. Yeah, I'm not a big fan of that either. You should be able to set that depending on which profile you're using.
  2. Me too. Just as long as GPS doesn't start falling apart on us...
  3. I also had my first crash ever with my 300, after upgrading to 2.94. I was routing to a geochache in automotive mode.
  4. If the hints or log entries can't help you, then you probably need to log a and move on to another cache. No biggie. In my opinion, the only people that would need a puzzle cheat group are those that cache for numbers.
  5. I proposed to my wife at a geocache about 6 years ago. I found the cache the day before, took her out the next day, led her astray while I put the ring in the ammo box. Lead her to the correct area where she found the cache and the ring. The cache owner let me keep the ammo box and deactivated the cache for us. We actually plan on hiding an anniversary cache at the same location soon ( on our 5 year anniversary). We should be able to find it as the coordinates are engraved on the inside of our wedding bands.
  6. Are you using a unzip program like 7-zip or rar... or are you using windows to unzip the files? It really should matter. Unzip the files to your desktop (open the zip files with windows and drag the contents to your desktop) and open one of them to ensure there is data in there. It's XML code, but you'll be able to decipher cache names, coordinates, etc. If you do see those then make sure that those exact files are in the gpx directory on your OR. If you don't see anything cache info in the PQ, then you need to look at how you have your PQ set up on GC.com.
  7. Something must have broken when they did the upgrade. Probably needs a few more tweaks.
  8. It probably fell into the hands of one us Republicans.
