I usually just explain what I'm doing. If I'm with someone else, I generally don't get asked what I'm doing, though. We just have a conversation that covers it up. Last week I was walking in the city alone, and I had someone approach me and ask what I was looking for because maybe he could help me find it. It was said rather suggestively. I smiled and pretended my gpsr was a camera (it does look like one!) and just kept taking "pictures." "Nope, just sight seeing." I wonder of men and women caching by themselves, which attracts more questions?

Thank you. I did in fact read the guidelines before posting, but I was still not clear. I wasn't sure if it was saying that a cache could be placed near a virtual cache or that the old grandfathered types sometimes used to be closer. It can't hurt to ask, right? Thanks to you both for the quick responses.

I know that caches should be at least .1 miles apart, but does this also apply to placing a cache near a virtual? I have a spot I would like to put a traditional cache, but there is a virtual very near by. Thanks!

My brother and I (part time Cayman residents) have found almost all of the caches on Grand Cayman. We aren't in Little Cayman or the Brac at all. We plan on hiding some more caches this fall/winter, but were hoping that a Caymanian cacher might be willing to hide some so that we can find them! Is there anyone nearby hiding caches?
