hi , i just buy an explorist xl and when i store maps with the sd card the reading(locationof the pointer) in the unit is off about a quarter of a inch of the street but it follow them . i used mapsend topo canada is it normal, and im not able to connect my unit with the pc its not seen it please help me. marty.

hi ,im looking for buying a gps for geocaching i just return my explorist 500LE ,a lot of trouble whit the unit and im want a gps whit a big screen and colors and easy to use ,can somebody help me on this??? thank to all. marty.

did someone know if its possible to use mapsource topo from garmin into an explorist 500LE from magellan??? thanks marty.

thanks to all for your respond, i spoke to magellan they said that my USB cable was faulty , they re supposed to send me a new one(cable) , whith that even when the unit is not plug the screen show me that its as power supplies and i have batteries inside , i think im gone to send everything back to the company and look for a other gps did someone can tell me what kind of gps is easy to use whit a big color screen im gone use it for geocaching and search for mushroom. thanks marty.

hi i just receive my new explorite 500LE , my pc did not detected it ,when i try to send geocache to my gps the floppy disc start to run and it said that my explorist is not found,even in MY PC its not detected and when i plugged it on the usb the gps said usb file transfer ,please help me i got windows xp pro in my pc thank. marty.
