Did not mean to rattle so many cages....just offering my opinion, after so many caches.
-
I'm not sure if I'm understanding you correctly, but I expect my caches to stay dry in the rain. Obviously cachers need to take care with the logs and cache containers if they open them up in the rain, but I expect my cache logs to stay dry even in bad weather. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding. Nice that the rain is dry in your part of the universe.

Does 205 finds make a cacher an expert???????
-
No one sets up a cache assuming it will be looked after. However, no one sets up a cache thinking that in pooring rain, the cahe will remain dry.DUHHH

No one should use a cache assuming everyone else will set up their fun for them/

We have 85 caches placed everywhere so cachers can have a great adventure. I know it is our responsibility to keep our caches in great order but when some cacher goes out in the rain and claims the cache but could not sign it cause log was wet, it really ticks me off. wE TRAVEL WITH A FULL KIT...EXTRA LOGS, EXTRA SWag, extra plastic bags, pencils etc. Would it be unreasonnable to ask a cacher to slip a dry piece of paper in a log????? Sorry but that really makes me want to archive each and every one of my caches to avoid the "cursed" 'needs attention. We are a community ....is it wrong to help a little? If so, we have been wrong a lot! We have even replaced broken containers! Someone tell me is this a game or a marshall law sport?

Your black dog looks like our Muggles except that she is (was) all black. Now she is getting grey like us.
-
Our doggie is actually named Muggles...mugsy for short. She loves to go out with us and though she doesn't find many caches herself, she does serve as a diversion.

At the risk of saying something that later, I may wish I had not ... I wonder if Keith is as nasty as his words sound or if he is just kidding around? edit was to fix grammar My feelings exactly ..,...from the Mon of Monterry

Had a ball with the Discovery 5 crew and LNBJJF. Extremely well organized and a whole lot of fun. Conrats to all the planners, assistants and orange shirts. Even the CITO was great fun with the gang. Thanks and congrats from us all. Monterry

Are you kidding? Just the fact you took less than a millisecond to find an almost impossible, invisible, ammo can under a bridge last summer tells me your stats are pretty close to true. We do lpc and very interesting caches. Thanks for visiting our bridge and understanding our language.

Thanks BlueDeuce, just one last question though - under what circumstances would one want to grab a TB when it is listed as being held by another cacher? If the other cacher fails to log that they have placed the TB into the cache that you found it in, you would need to Grab it before you could log that you Placed it into a cache. However (there's always a However), you should allow the other cacher time to log it before you Grab it. Yep, or perhaps someone handed you a bug. I work with another cacher and on occasion we trade TBs this way. OK, all is clear now. thanks for your patience guys. We still contend that you trade like for like. It is more fair that waY to the "bug" originators. Monterry
