  1. You hate apostrophe's...what? I really don't hate them. It just gave me the excuse I needed to post the shooting soldier. I like the way he looks, so here he is (with a twist) ___ __ ____________________________ ___ Longing for better times
  2. I guess I have my answer. Most people either don't know it's an option or simply don't care. Thanks for all of your input. I'll stop barking up this tree. ___ __ ____________________________ ___ Longing for better times

However, you can check out this list of who's who. A Google search on CCCooperAgency also turns up a wealth of info (if your interested). ____________________________________________________________ "Seek and ye shall find"
  13. Just out of curiosity, does anyone out there use private topics? For a bored guy like me (who is unfortunately sitting behind a huge firewall) this seems like a place where I can pseudochat with someone. I tried this a while back, but it seems as though no one checks their MyPop page. Just a boring question from a bored cacher. ____________________________________________________________ "Seek and ye shall find"

  15. Are any of you out there planning on attending the ESOS between Feb 8th and 16th? For those who dont know, the ESOS is billed as the largest outdoors show on the East coast. It's located in Harrisburg, PA. It truly is the Mecca for hunting and fishing fanatics. Anyway, just a question. ____________________________________________________________ "Seek and ye shall find"
  16. Thanks Big Red. I have a feeling I'll need all the luck I can get . However, it's in Hands bigger than mine now. ____________________________________________________________ "Seek and ye shall find"
  17. I just wanna post something and since I'm the only one here, There's no one else to talk to. It's just as well. I'll just go back to reading my Clive Cussler novel. I just don't understand how I can be the only one on the boards of over 26k people. Oh well. ____________________________________________________________ "Seek and ye shall find"
  18. In order to offset all of the negativity produced by the complaint dept, I decided to start an atta-boy dept. Feel free to pat someone on the back here. I'll start off by giving my wife and kids a great big for picking up the slack I've left since my accident laxt July (see posts in complaint dept thread). I truly appreciate all of their help and support and I'm truly blessed to have them as a part of my life. Thanks again. ____________________________________________________________ "Seek and ye shall find"
  19. I truly appreciate your concern. I tried to take a 'mistakes happen' approach to this whole ordeal, but it's hard. I agree that he should go through more driver's training. I'll be in the hospital for surgery on Feb. 18th for lumber discectomy and anterior spinal fusion. The procedure has a 95% success rate so everything should be fine. Thankfully, out of the 3 people involved in my incident, I was the only one hurt. At least I didn't have to look my dad in the eye and tell him I "spaced out". As for the attorney thing, they're working on it . As for Team GPSaxophone, please don't think of my ramblings as the start of a movement to ban Suburbans. My Dad always taught me to surround myself with as much metal as I could. The Suburban certainly has enough to do this well. I would probably own one myself. But alas, I'm a big car guy. Enough complaining for now..... ____________________________________________________________ "Seek and ye shall find"

I can run over your little Honda or put it 4-wheel drive when it snows. I feel a lot safer driving such a big vehicle. The only thing that could really do damage to it is a tractor trailer. (snip) Maybe inexperienced drivers shouldn't be put behind the wheel of a 7000 pound truck, or Maybe his parents said, "If he crashes, what vehicle would he be able to survive a crash in?" Wouldn't you want your child to be safe when they are first learning how to drive? Besides, in a truck like that, they can't dive 130mph down a 2 lane road. #1, I was in a 1997 New Yorker #2, If I was in a "little Honda", I wouldn't be here to complain. #3, I was at a dead stop and he was doing between 40 and 50 mph. There were no skid marks from him so he hit me full tilt. #4, Would you give your kid a loaded gun to go play with and feel good about it because the gun has a safety on it? I don't have a problem with protecting our kids. I would do the same for mine. I would, however, have serious reservations about buying my child a new vehicle of any kind after he openly admitted that he "spaced out" behind the wheel. Besides, this is my complaint. This thread is for complaints and I'm complaining. I'm sure I'll get over this. But, for the present, I'm bitter. I'm getting ready for some pretty extensive back surgery to repair the newly exploded disks in my back. Sorry, to be so long. I just wanted to vent some more. I'll be ready to vent again sometime soon. Until then... ____________________________________________________________ "Seek and ye shall find"
