  1. If I want to see what a particular user has done, I do the following. 1. go to my account. 2. click on 'find another player' 3. enter player name 4. Click on view profile 5. click on geocaches tab of user profile. 6. click list all cache finds. This returns a list of all caches the user has found with the latest on top. This is what I do to follow my son and grandsons caching in California. This may only work if you are a premium member. I don't know as I have been a premium member since the day after I started geocaching 3 1/2 years ago. Hawk Team RedHawk
  2. When I receive a 'dnf' for one of my caches I read the log. If it says "I have tried x number of times." I send the cacher some very helpful hints. I also look at the cachers profile and tailor the hints based on how many finds they have. Hawk Team RedHawk
  3. I looked about a year ago and could find no definite originator. I have been using it on pinback buttons I make. My biggest kick was when I ran into one of the local 'big guns' wearing one of my buttons on his hat. Hawk Team RedHawk
  4. As was stated above please just sign the log for micros. On a couple of occasions when doing cache maintenance on some of my micro caches I had to replace the log after only 10 people signing because someone had used a sticker that took up space for 20 signatures. Was wrapped front and back. Hawk Team RedHawk
  5. I'm kind of a wimp. I stop caching while the temp is above 110 which it has been for the last month (116 today ). you know it is going to be warm when you low temp is 93. I'll probably wait til September to start again. I'll spend the time planning my next cache. Hawk Team RedHawk
  6. Local Arizona aprover is Artemis. If you look at ther user profile for the hider the only cache they found was their own. Hawk Team RedHawk
  7. Gee! That is a pretty harsh statement. If I worried what trade item I would get based on the amount of gas I used, I think I would have quit caching about 500 caches ago. I make geocaching buttons. If it is a small/micro cache I will try to leave a 1" button larger get either 1 1/4" or 2 1/4" inch buttons. This has made my trade problems non existant. Besides I get a real big kick when I run into another cacher and they are wearing one of my buttons. Hawk Team RedHawk
  8. My last cache (submitted this afternoon) was approved and on line 26 minutes after I pressed the submit button. Artimis (female approver) for Arizona is really on the ball. Thanks Artimis. Hawk Team RedHawk
  9. I've worked hard at clearing those cache things from my area. I go out of town for 4 days and there are six new ones. Well I guess I know what I'll be doing after work. Hawk Team RedHawk
  10. All 18 of my cache hides have been found within the last 4 days. No mean feat when you realize that they range from 3 to 114 miles away. Hawk Team RedHawk
  11. Dirt, rocks, cactus--- no rain yep Phoenix is still desert. See what you get for moving Brian
  12. Thanks for all the hints. Yes I had checked the box. My HTML pointed to the image name ... which geocaching changes. Copied the link address and it works fine now. This is a new cache not yet approved. Hawk
  13. How do I get my graphics to show on the geocaching.com cache page? They look fine on my machine. Yes I uploaded the graphics. Hawk
