i got the etrex legend and i'm happy with it ,starting to wish i had some of the higher priced models featurs but for now the legend will do evrything i need it to do ,there's some for sale in the garage sale section for good prices

I see that they have a gps function,but you have to upgrade ..is it worth it and what types of things do you get can ya downlad parts of the maps and routes and poi ? thanks

In one of the posted cache there's something saying checksum N then a number and the same for the W just wondering what they meen by checksum. thanks

when out geocaching ,my legend does ok until i'm close on navigate the directional arrow will show completly the oposite of the distance ...when close the distance will be decreasing while the arrow is pointing the other way and it;s the distance i go by and it's usually right. Is this normal?

Been out a few times since getting my gps for Christmas,never able to find any caches but today brought my two daughters ,we found a total of 6 of 7 and had a blast doing so,we can't wait to get out again

i'm trying to put in some coordinates manually from the site for a search the coordinates around here are w064 then the next digits start with an 8 but the highest i can get in my gps is 5 any help would be appreciated thanks

I just got a garmin legend for christmas ,and was thinking of getting some maps but was wondering if you can only have one map or can ya have a few at a time and just scroll to the one you want to use thanks

Just got my first gps,love it so far it's a garmin legend . I'm having a problem figuring out how to put in the longitude all the ones i see are starting with a ( - ) in front mine are all starting without can't seem to change it ,can someone explain this thanks
