  1. I have the same problem. App starts, shows the map for about 1 second then crashes. Android 13 on Xiaomi redmi note 10.
  2. Is anyone still maintaining GME? The maps (In particular British OS maps) have just stopped working. There was a tampermonkey update earlier, could that have anything to do with it?
  3. I have the same problem, raised it via a support Email and got this ... Hello Alan- Thank you for contacting Geocaching HQ. Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to adjust the timestamp on adventure lab logs. Best regards, Martin
  4. The imageproxy is either caching images, or telling my browser to cache images, they're not getting updated on the page I view when they change on the server. I have several stats badges on my profile page, one is Church micro stats, its source is here - http://www.15ddv.me.uk/geo/cm/awards/cm_award.php?name=alan666notb When I view it on my profile page, it is served from here - https://imgproxy.geocaching.com/767082877b3748779959eb636013e39128bbd422?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.15ddv.me.uk%2Fgeo%2Fcm%2Fawards%2Fcm_award.php%3Fname%3Dalan666notb However, the second image doesn't change when the original does. I discovered this when I noticed the number of finds shown wasn't increasing. I tried opening the image in a separate tab (it showed the 'old' number), I then reloaded that tab (Now the 'latest' number showed). When I reloaded my profile page the latest image was now shown (This didn't happen when I just reloaded my profile page).
  5. Wouldn't that change also torpedo many people's profile pages? E.g. you wouldn't be able to show your Project-GC stats page, as many people do.
  6. I've noticed that images on my profile page are also going through the imageproxy. It's screwed up a couple of stats bars that I used to display.
  7. Try pasting the 2nd URL into a browser window, it should redirect to the s3.amazonaws.com site and you can then cut&paste the URL it ends up at.
  8. The FAQ says 'Hosted', not 'published' ... Do Event Caches have clues? Events hosted between July 11 and August 11, 2019 will all receive the detective clue.
  9. I think it works for all users of the API, so official APP, cachely, maybe GSAK as well.
  10. I had to delete my 'attended' log (on the website) Log out / back in on the App (So it realised I hadn't logged it) Then logged an 'attended' via the App. Then the detective clue thingy appeared.
  11. I've just deleted my attended log on an event and re-logged it a few seconds ago. Still no souvenir or 'detective clue' has appeared.
  12. Seems to have expired on 24/04/2019 ... Domain GEOCACHINGADMIN.COM Registrar Domain.com, LLC Domain.com, LLC Whois server whois.verisign-grs.com Created 24-Apr-2003 Updated 27-Apr-2019 Expires 24-Apr-2019
  13. The "Geocaching quick links" domain name [ www.geocachingadmin.com ] seems to have expired.
  14. There's a strange bug where some people are unable to use the 'View Larger Map' link from a cache page. It results in a 'This page can't be found' error with a very long URL, I'll attach a screenshot of the start of it. I've seen it several times but can't reliably reproduce it, there's a FB thread at the moment about a particular cache page, GC17CYK [ Manchester Invasion ], some people see the error, some don't. I see it using Chrome on Windows 10. Any ideas what's going on?
  15. Lots of people reporting this on Geocaching UK FB page as well.
  16. The links on my profile page no longer work, I haven't used anything fancy like javascript, just straight links to other pages. Clicking on any link just reloads my profile page. When I 'hover' over a link, I see the expected URL has been replaced with a long random-looking URL on the geocaching.com site with the text "link:undefined" somewhere in the middle of it.
  17. Don't know how important this is, but the symbols on the menu pallet for the "Enable location info", "Goto home location" and "Config options" have disappeared on my browser. The functions still work, there's just no icons there. The other two icons ("Hide icons" and "Route tool") are still present. I'm using GME v0.8.2 on Chrome 67.0.3396.99
  18. Solved - CO has used some HTML to position the images there.
  19. There are pictures of cache containers appearing on new cache pages, any idea why, or how you set them. E.g. look at these caches, they are all micros but one has an image of a film pot, one has a fake rock and one has a fake log???? GC7HM63, GC7J0GV and GC7J0H2
  20. Spoke too soon! I see that you have problems with 1and1 ISP which is what I use, I created a spare gmail account, made it my primary account on geocaching.com and set the gmail account to forward messages to my 1and1 account. Now I get notifications straight away. But what a faff!, what's going on? Either you or 1and1 really need to sort this out.
  21. Has this been fixed? I suddenly received a few notifications on time! Including one telling me that a reviewer has disabled one of my caches, so that was lucky!
  22. OK, here's something unusual .. I picked up a this TB at an event - Doc's Shake (TB5TYMK) When I went to log it I found it hadn't been dropped in the event yet so I 'watched' it, Then the cacher who previously held it told me he had dropped it in the event, so I retrieved it without waiting for an Email notifying me of the drop. Sometime later, I get the following Emails... ---- 02/01/2018 00:42 Retrieve It from a Cache (Date stamped 20:52 by GS) ---- 02/01/2018 04:41 Dropped Off (Date stamped 16:27 by GS) So, I received the 'retrieved' email approx 4 hours before the 'dropped' email.
  23. Looking into it further, I now realise that some notifications haven't been received at all.
  24. I'm getting huge delays in some Log notification Emails, up to 24 hours between someone logging one of my caches and me receiving the Emails. There doesn't seem to be any pattern, it doesn't affect any particular cache, TB or log type. It's been happening for over a week or so and isn't just affecting me, my partner is also seeing similar delays, also seemingly at random. Here's the relevant header fields from two Emails I received four hours apart, I logged a maintenance performed on one of my caches and dropped a TB I was watching with the same log entry. ----- The first Email is for the TB drop, headers were ... 25. Hi there, I've noticed that the 'hides' count is wrong on my profile page. On my profile page it says "217 hides", but if I look at my Owned caches page (Obviously you won't see my caches if you click on it), it says "You own 218 Geocache Listing(s)". The "Owned caches page" is the correct one, I have 218 hides, two are archived. Any ideas?
