If anyone's working on a geocaching app for the iPhone it's going to be Trimble.

I created a website for Mac-using Geocachers (MUGs). http://chimbisimo.googlepages.com I have walkthroughs for uploading waypoints to your unit.

How's the reception on the N95? Does it have WAAS or a SiRf chip?

From Engadget
If you've bought a GPS unit in the past year or two there are decent odds it's based on the SiRFstar III chipset, which has been about as good as it gets since it arrived on the scene a few years ago. Now there's a new chip on the block, SiRFprima, which could have GPS aficionados kicking those SiRFstar III units to the curb. The unit boasts "industry leading" GPS performance, and is the first of its ilk to be able to work with GPS and Galileo signals simultaneously. InstantFixII -- which promises 5 second start times -- is built in as well, along with 3D acceleration for the fancy new maps hitting the scenes, and the capability to work with external devices like touch screens, DVD players, video cameras and so forth. While no one feature is revolutionary, the fact that SiRFprima will be wrapping up all these features into a cute little package for GPS manufacturers to slap into their units without a worry -- which should start happening in the second quarter of this year -- is surely cause for celebration. -
I created a website for Mac-using geocachers, especially those who use eXplorists. http://chimbisimo.googlepages.com . I also made a video for how to connect your eXplorist to your Mac:

Apparently it IS being used in real life. Hence the news segment.

You can try the Google Maps app. It's free, but I don't know if it will take coordinates. I'd try it out for you but I'm not on a data plan; I only use it to check traffic when in a bind, or when I'm lost.
EDIT: I run this on my Treo 650, so I have internet access. I don't know about PDAs with no cell phone capability.
-
Yes, it is included.

If you have Apple's Boot Camp (comes standard with Jaguar OS) and an Intel chip, you should have no trouble. DeLorme does not officially support other Windows emulation.
Boot Camp can currently be downloaded by Leopard users only.

d'oh, you're right, I'm sorry. No, I don't load maps or anything. I think MacGPSPro might do this, but I haven't tried it out. Let me know if you find anything that works!

Well, explaining that process is the purpose of the website. But in a nutshell, I currently use GeoJournal to not only get waypoints into my eXplorist, but to keep track of my found caches, keep a journal of my finds with photos, and plan cache runs with the itinerary function.
Before GJ I used GPSBabel, which is free. The majority of my site is still "how to use GPSBabel with your Mac."

I would need to app to connect directly with Geocaching.com in order to be interested. The part of geocaching that I would like to skip--let me phrase that differently. The part of geocaching that I would like to ENHANCE is its spontaneity. If I can easily see what caches are near me on the fly, then I would be very interested. Otherwise I can just carry my gps with me.
