  1. I went to the geocaching.com home page and entered 78633 as a zip code to search by and it worked fine.
  2. I have never used the 60csx so I can't say much about it but we recently got the Oregon 400T and we love it. Before the Oregon we used a Magellan Explorist 500 and printed out the cache pages. Then we loaded the cache pages into our Nuvi so we could be paperless. That was better but the Oregon is much better. It is nice to only have 1 unit and have all the info you need at your fingertips. The only drawback I've had with the Oregon is battery life. I am using rechargeables but in the cold they don't seem to last very long so we just make sure we take extra batteries with us. Don't regret buying the Oregon 400T at all.
  3. Garmin Colorado & Oregon series. I have the Colorado 400T. I have a couple of PQ's that I run weekly. I takes about 30 seconds for me to update the GPSr with the new PQ. I then have descriptions, hints, logs, etc. all at my finger tips. It still kind of seems like cheating to me as I started with a original Etrex (non-WAAS) & paper! I have the Oregon 400T and it makes paperless caching extremely easy. Everything is on 1 unit so you don't have to carry both the gps and the pda around. It's great. Also have a Nuvi in my vehicle to help me get there and I also load the cache info into it.
  4. We started out with a Magellan Explorist and it worked fine. It is actually our daughters and we wanted one of our own so we bought a Garmin Oregon and we love it. The paperless feature is awesome. It is also much more user friendly than the Explorist.
  5. Try buydig.com I just bought an Oregon 400t and got a real good deal. Not sure what other gps they carry but it can't hurt to check.
  6. I don't think the glow sticks will hurt anything. My kids used them all the time and when they were done with them we put them in the freezer so they could be reused.

  8. My pq runs but I don't receive it. I checked the junk & spam folders and didn't find them there. Checked to make sure e-mail address was right also. Tried running 2 pqs this morning and 1 tonight. Have got them before. Any ideas?????
  9. Thank you very much for the info. I also was having that problem. I deleted all the waypoints and reloaded them. When I came up with the same problem (only showing 52 caches) I deleted them again and tried downloading them onto a SD card. Again I had the same issue. I tried searching, by name, for some that I knew didn't show and should have been in there and just as you said it found them. Thanks
  10. Thank you very much for the useful information. I didn't realize my Nuvi would do all that. I was amazed when I read your tutorial.
