Yes, that was me she mentioned in the article, I brought her out to the site w/ me last Thursday, the weather was horrible. I know that this was her first cache, I hope she does more on her own. I love the Herald and they have an annual "Herald Hunt" every year, go to Heralhhunt.com or tropichunt.com which is a fellow geocachers site for the "hunts"

Why would you leave a sport that you love so much? I can understand your frustration but it seems to me that this is more than just a weekend hobby for you, I think that you need to think about archiving all of your caches and just take a break for a few weeks to calm down. Just my 2 cents..for what is is worth

I noticed that several hundred caches are hidden in the Tampa/Clearwater area. So I was wondering if anyone in the South Florida area was interesed in driving up to Tampa for a day to hit as many caches as possible. Nickie

I searched on the Sun Sentinel site but nothing came up. I would have loved to join in the fun, too bad I missed this one.
