Hi, I already received your package (mentioned it in post #586) I also received a letter today, from the customs, meaning I need to go there in order to get a package that came from the US. It could be a package from SCIFICOLLECTOR, or from NIKON-ING Both have a lot of coins inside, so they are heavy. Now I'll have to convince the guys from the customs that this was a trade and that I didn't buy the coins... maybe I'll show them the excel file from the MAthtrade Next Monday I'll go there, and I'll let you know who the winner is: Scificollector vs Nikon-ing Other than these two, I'm still waiting for another package, from THE_4_FS. And also still waiting for 3 confirmations that my packages arrived well.

This is a very nice design, so I thought I would give it a try and propose some color schemes. This one I will call it "Double Delight" (see why here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosa_%27Double_Delight%27) The stone is a purple "Fuchsia", and the metal is black nickel.

Yesterday I received two more packages, from Penny and Kona, and from TADPOLE379. Once more, several wonderful coins (in particular, I must say, the brown Anasazi) This means that only 4 packages have not arrived yet at my door. I'm also missing confirmations from YemonYime, Avroair, Scificollector and E&Cplus3, that they received the packages I sent them. The updated status is the following

A brief update to say that 2 packages arrived today, the second one from Avroair, and another from Mauison. A bunch of coins, in fact, including some of my most wanted (Compass Rose 2006, daVinci challenge set, Mauison personal V1). Of course all these deserve to be photographed and shown, and I'll do that later. I'm VVEEERY happy :D Thanks to all of you!

A few more packages arrived today. And the TSUN version of the Dragonfly Talisman was in one of these packages, which made me REALLY happy. Thank you Mark!!!! Another packet had a Birka in Antique Silver -- this is one of my favorite geocoins. I will post pictures of all of them in a future post. And thank you all for making some of my wishes come true :D

When I found my first cache, on Jan 1 2007, there was a Finland geocoin in there (although I had no idea of what it was, why it was there, so left it untouched) 2. when and what geocoin did you first buy? If I remember well, I bought a Pirates of the Chesapeake, because I had seen one and I HAD to have one like that. At about the same time, I also bought a Portugal 2006 geocoin. 3. when did you make your first personal coin? N/A if you haven't yet, why not? Did not make any. It's costly, and I doubt I could design something that would raise interest, so that I could recover part of the investment by selling some coins. 4. when and what did you trade your first geocoin? I really don't remember... I was buying many before I started to trade. I think it may have been a trade to get a Great Texas geocoin (forum trade) 5. did you find the forums first or a geocoin first? Geocoins. Much before the forums!!

Everything looks fine on my side. In fact, I was positively surprised with the large number of coins I'm trading, which I didn't expect :-) Furthermore, I got some coins that were on my top wanted list, so this makes me very happy I also learned a lot with this first participation, namely that the probability that one of your coins will trade is higher than I expected, and so that I should be more careful in order to avoid receiving duplicates (it happened with a couple of coins -- I knew this was possible, just not with that probability, and that's fine). In essence, the math trade works better than I thought, which is obviously great. I'm just not 120% satisfied because I didn't get the coin that I wanted the most - the YemonYime variant of the CR2010 But ok, that wasn't a surprise, I guess this was one of the most wanted coins, eheh. Now it's time to send all the 20 packages or so (oh my god!!), and also receive about the same number (yeah!!!). In summary, this is a wonderful initiative, a fantastic job -- a BIG that you, Chuck. And thanks to everyone else, some which will be directly trading with me and all the others that are in the trading chains Antonio

I was finally able to create my list. Next year I'll make sure to list less coins, and hopefully I'll want also less coins Thanks for the perfect organization!
