  1. I have to trade: Caching through the Snow (one each of silver and bronze) Connecticut one each of gold, silver, and bronze) Idaho 2006 (available about 2nd week in Jan) JeeperMTJ (trackable personal coin) availble real soon San Francisco Kentucky 2005 Nielsenc Caching around the World (#14) Georgia My needs are very specific to get all the trackables and state coins I am missing. In order of priority: 1. Moun10bike (a super strech goal, you can have all of the above for it) 2. Ammo Can (Coin Club) 3. First to Find (Coin Club) 4. Alabama old 2004, not the new 2005 (if it makes it by 2005) 5. NWPa old non-trackable with the sailing ship 6. OKIC (Ohio Kentucky Ohio Cachers 7. Missouri 8. Pa old Keystone coin (with keystone hole in coin)
  2. Lets see there was the Kansas coin (really the KSWader coin), then the real Kansas coin and now not just one but a series from Wichita Kansas. Seems like way too much for me. At most there should be one coin. If you made a trackable coin with its own icon than I would be interested. I think there is getting to be too many coins being issued. (and this comming from one member of the team that gave you the Delaware coin) At some point people will be very selective to what they spend money on. I'm real partial to state coins done by the state geocaching organization, but others may be more intereted in personal coins.
  3. I took the last batch to the Post Office today. Some when out as early as Monday. Not sure why but we printed out orders and addresses shorted by name of the purchaser, well actually went alphbetically by first name. If you are A to D they should arrive soon. If you are S to Z, add add 3 days. The post office was extremely busy, so their delivery time may be longer than normal. It may be a little wait, but I think you will be surprised at just how good this coin looks

    Dnf Geocoin

I would like 1 limited edition and 2 standard
  5. I missed the Ontario coin. Anyone want to trade for either Georgia, Iowa, GOWT, San Francisco, or UK
  6. Why not a solution that pisses everybody off and makes more work for everybody. Honor all the orders but for one coin only and issue partial refunds to everybody. That would make it about 165 coins. Then sell the rest (to 200 coins) on Ebay with proceded above the asking price going to charity. You would get to see the real worth of the coin, help charity and let anybody that realy really had to have this coin pay through the nose. But then there is no trading if everybody only has one. Seriously, I think limited edition coins should also be limited to one per person and should never be less than 250 coins. Better to have many people feel good than a very few feel really great. By the way I did get the Georgia peach and quickly trade the extra for what was to me a hard to get very old state coin I needed. Even though I benefited, I dont think the system is right. Now the tough question to Thorny---How many coins did each of your team get. I hope it wasn't something life 5 team members at 10 coins each!
  7. My list is about as long as everybody else's lists. You should look at the lists and be disappointed with the coins that are long overdue. You should not have to wait two months. But lets be fair. I see the Delaware coin is on a lot of lists, so I will deal with that since I am part of the team (of truely Delaware geocachers) that is producing that coin. We are a young organization with essentially no money in the bank. Making a trackable coin you face two big expenditures, buying the tracking numbers and then paying for the coin production. We did not sell the coin until we had the design set, approved, and a committment on tracking numbers. At that point we needed to pay for the tracking numbers ($1500 for 1,000 coins) to start production. Only then did we start sales. As soon as there was enough money in the paypal account, the numbers were puchased and the coin manufacturer was paid. Its now 2 1/2 weeks later and we are expecting the coins within two weeks. I think its reasonable to wait that long since local state organizations will not have the up front money needed. However anyone that takes money before they have a final design is another matter. Only when you are ready to mint the coin should you take money. I would love to see it where when you order a coin it is then shipped to you, but I dont see it happening. With state trackable coins (1,000 minimum) there is no way to start out small wilt low initial expenses. While I'm up on the soap box, let me address another unfairness with limited edition coins. For Delaware the limited ediition was limited to one each with no cheating. (A few orders were canceled when that happened). This was the fairest way to give everybody a chance. I think its better to give 200 people a chance to get the coin instead of letting 100 people get two coins and then be in the drivers seat to make coin trades. Any limited edition coin should also be limited to one per customer! That way the limited edition should not show up on Ebay since no one has any extras. (Someone who has to liquidate their collection for cash could still show up on Ebay)
  8. I have two extra LIGO silver coins. Looking to backfill some older missing state coins. Need old Alabama, OKIC, and Missouri
  9. Silver is still available but for how much longer. Who is on their computer at 5 am checking the coin forums. Ordered silver and std for me and few extra for trades
  10. I have a few extras to trade. I need Colorado, Ohio, GGA, and Dutch coin
  11. Is this for real? Didnt make the cut off for the other coin group and I'm not very religious so count me in.
  12. After getting very upset for not getting the email and thinking I lost getting this coin, I looked in the spam folder and there it was. Then I looked back further in the forum and thare was a posting warning of this. After observing all the "stupid" people that can't follow simple instructions in the forum, now I have become one! I put this at current end of thread so maybe someone else can avoid my mental anguish
  13. The orders were for early testing of the web site. Limited invitations were sent to earliest pre-orders. Only orders from invitations list will be accepted. Some other pre-orders still need to be processed. We anticipate openig the web site to general orders by Friday and will post in the forum then.
  14. They were not advertised and mostly sold to Idaho cachers on their local web site. No payment has been taken yet or delivery set. I ordered a few extras. Anybody want to make a trade. I only need Dutch coin and a few older coins (Pa, keystone, old Alabama, old GOWT, Santa Cruz, and Oregon 2004
  15. I must have missed this one. Is it too late to request two.
  16. Now down to 131 left. Maybe things will slow down until people start getting home from work
  17. Got my order in about 1:15 Central time and looked like about 190 coins left Had to make good on the second chance since I missed this the first time
  18. Since this seems to be preorder thread and the coin appears to be trackable, I would like 10 coins
  19. The only way to prove that you are not adicted is to not buy this coin!!!!
  20. Looks like I made the cut and got Georgia Peach. I will trade one away. Coin I would like to get is Oregon coin to fill in few older state coins I am missing.
  21. I put my order in. Without the limited Peach coin as drawing card, no way can the Iowa coin compete on coins sold/minute basis, but I'm betting it sells out in about 5-6 hours. Helps that it looks like it will be a really nice coin. The coins sold numbers that you are posting--have the three big coin buying groups orders in so far. That alone can jump you by 200+ coins
  22. I would like one silver and four regular
  23. Looking for Idaho, Kentucky, Santa Cruz, Washington 2004, and Wisconsin-Coolee. I have 2 German gold and 3 German pewter to offer in trade if anyone is interested.
