nice idea with the maps but next to useless for most regional areas in Australia ie the detail for Yahoo maps is very poor so it gives you no idea which road its near etc... I think the mapping needs to be configurable as on vendor doesn't fit all in this case

I'm sure when I activated a geocoin a few months back I could specify an email address so when coin moved the notification was send to another email address other than mine. Is this possible or have they removed this option? Whats the best way do get geocoin setup for another person who hasn't got an GC userid.

Anyone? How do I change email address for Geocoin notifications, ie if I want a partner or friend to receive emails but I manage the coin?

The Geocaching Australia website has already done this for Aussie caches.. but only viewable via their site not CG

Can I Edit/update Geocoin Activation so notifications go to an alternate email address. Also I didn't get any email notification for trackable activation Has these pages changed?

unfortunately no details if this will be resolved, but the other big annoy features is the default date when I log a find .. its always "yesterday" as Canberra time is +14hours I have mostly set this day forward also when I show caches it shows it has been found "today" for 2 days even thought is was "yesterday" my time. Basically they need a common routine to display with users local time

you have to ask youself... what is the larger project.. and what is top of the priority... performance.. well what if the performance never improves? I wonder what they are doing with the limited resources.. perhaps some peak into whats "on-the-list" and whats off.. As far as I can see there have been no changes in the last six months or have I missed some new features?

Is it my understanding if you want a PQ to run immediatly or soon then you have to tick the correct day, if this is right, can someone get that page updated to display what day it is, as its not always know for people in different time zone ( or even better a Queue Now button) Very confusing... indeed Also when I preview and try to download using Preview page it only gives me .loc file format .. huh (not GPX)

actually speaking of the wallpapers can the "background image" for cache pages be re-worked so you can actually see the image eg have a little window or area the image can be show..

and what about the process for all the other suggestions listed right on the top of this thread... eg local date support for non-us contries better filters on Googlemaps, custom data formats eg dd/mm/yyyy , sorting of finds by found date etc..

This is all very interesting, given the data actually is provided by you and me (and every other geocacher..) strange that they are actually barriers to get this data back.. perhaps we should start charging CG to input data. lol

Yeah and the Dates... the sorting of finds.. can anyone explain why its not .. by time of find...

I know its not a solution for the website but Firefox can rescale the whole page I use 70% and it works pretty well, but I agree the PDF two page thing... go figure..

Also there is links on the print PDF for with 5,10,20 logs etc but why not on the standard print cache, basically you have to select the print format then select how many logs etc.. when it would be easier with the one link.. Also on the Log cache can you also put the TB links so you don't have to go back to the Cache page to select Travel bugs to log/pick up. When you log cache put a link to TB that a in that cache.

Is there "any" chance this sorting could be a bit more intuitive or someway caches can force it to be sorted by some other means? Is this forum the best way to submit enhancement request?
