  5. Why do you think that these won't end up in a collection? One of the main reasons that coins end up in collections is because they ARE personal. Really, I'm not trying to be difficult here, but I don't understand the thought-process here. Do I need to? No. But do we reach greater understanding by trying to understand others POV? Yes. Atwell - not trying to derail your thread. Just trying to understand. To those who are interested in the project - go for it. For those who can explain how it's different than micro coins, and why you think they won't disappear just as quickly - please help me understand. Schmeigel, It's the new TRI-BRID. 1/3 micro, 1/3 travel tag, 1/3 regular coin....something like that. It's a coin with a hole in it, just going by a different name and I know, you know that Now for some really juicy information, I hope your sweetie doesn't mind, but I saw your pic in your Death March coin thread; someone remarked about your "nice" legs. I decided I'm going to use them for the front side of my coin. I'm not sure how good they will look in 2D though and I sure hope people are willing to trade with me.
  6. 1/2 hour left! Get 'em in folks You can fondle your coins later
  7. Nay? It's only lame if it's a horse................hahaha. Ok, enough of my horse humor. I think, if you think it's a good idea, then it's a good idea, that's what I think, how's that thinking? You know, if you say think a few times, it sounds kinda funny.
  8. Thanks.....when I get a little free time, I am going to work on that one.
  9. Sending emails. Moderator.....you can close this thread if you get the chance. Thanks.
  10. These are made with clay. I was testing out a new project.
  11. The key to making this work is getting to 1000 minimum production. The cost stated above $2.50-3.00 includes all die charges. I will be getting artwork from the mint on mine and a firm price at that point those who have shown interest will be contacted. Thanks for that clarification and I sent you a pm.
  12. Have you received mine yet? I did send it out on Monday.
  13. I was just testing some handmade items and made 6 of these (see pic). Not a big TB person but wanted to make something for a TB I'm getting ready to release. There are 2 copper, 2 metallic purple, 2 metallic blue. They are 1.75" in diameter, 1/4" thick. Will hold up well to traveling, plus small enough to to fit in most caches (not micros). Idea is to attach these to your travel bugs: Dog tag to dog tag (Does not come with the chain shown in picture). You can write on the back of these with a Sharpie, they will be blank. The first 6 people to post can have one (one each). Please don't ask for a specific color. Post#1 & 4=Purple Post#2 & 5=Blue Post#3 & 6=Copper I'll contact you via email to get your address to send these out to you on Monday. Enjoy. Tsun

  15. Ok, I'm interested but I'm also kind of confused. 1. Is it a coin but just not as thick as many coins out now or is it a tag (like pathtags)? 2. A different die is used for the front for each of us? 3. If it is like a coin, how does it differ from, let's say a micro, minus the fact we all have the same design on one side? Thanks for any clarification you can help me with. Tsun.
  16. I wish I had thought about this idea when I started. I think I may start taking a TB with me and dipping it in caches. Cool idea!
  17. Bumping this up.......I have received some wonderful nominations so far, seems there are some very wonderful people out there . Come on fellow geocachers, you have until 8pm MST tonight, take a couple minutes out of your day and nominate someone who you feel deserves a little "Random Act of Kindness". This costs absolutely nothing to you! Just give me a name and a brief reason why and go about your day The reasons can be very simple to as detailed as you want to get. Plus it will make you feel good inside just to know you cared enough to write in someone's name. Tsun The March recipient will be chosen Sunday evening. It won't be posted here because we don't want that person to know that they are being recognized (yet). I will contact the nominator(s) if their nominee is chosen. NOMINATIONS do carry over. Have a great day all .
