Just giving an update. Orders in to the mint and waiting on a shipping date. When all was said and done 700 trackable versions ordered, 105 non-trackables ordered. As always, there will be a special version (11 made) that some of you with orders will "win". The remaining will go towards fundraising for the Montana event on 8/11/12 here in Helena. I'll update again as the mint tells me what's going on Please email me if you have any questions (no pm's please). They requested 25 of each version and will have the ability to order more if they choose. There is also a special Aussie version that will be for sale at Geo What? Geo Stuff geocaching store probably sometime in late August. Those versions will be shipping with my main order. I suppose if you're a Steelers fan , you'll probably like that version.

Just thought I'd stop by here to throw out a teaser I haven't done a teaser thread for a long time. As usual, a shaped koin that has been in the works since 2010. There's actually a pencil drawing on Facebook I'm looking forward to seeing how this one turns out. Details soon. tsun

Thanks! I checked each one as I packed them to ensure they were all glued in. I only had 1 coin that actually had a gem missing when they shipped to me. I'm trying to move away from gem usage because of problems like that during shipping. Little ones are the problem children, lots of problems on the Sea of Treasures. Glad to see orders arriving. As a polite reminder to people and courtesy, remember photos are considered copyrighted material. I know I take alot of time taking my pictures and putting my information on them. If you sell coins on ebay and want to post pictures on your website, I would appreciate you asking me before you take mine and crop off my information. I almost always say "yes". tsun

Just wrapped up confirmation emails to all reservations received last night through today. If you didn't get a response from me, I didn't get your email. Results are Oro y Plata pulling ahead by a short lead, followed by Black n Glow for non-set orders Looks like when it's time to ship, I will have some serious packing to do Thanks again everyone, I look forward to getting these ordered and eventually getting them to their new homes. tsun

I apologize, I haven't been keeping track of threads until recently. I wanted to go to this event really badly, it's "close". Had I not had my shop built, I would have been able to attend some events this year. I will make plans for this one next year. At this point I could probably drive the coin to you faster than rely on the Canadian mail system I haven't really had anything to send to events this year until just very recently. Have fun! tsun

Thank you to everyone who has placed a reservation so far. I have replied to all emails (right Trasi? ). So far the sets seem to be the most popular. Individual coins that are most popular (top 3) are Tsun Select, Black and Glow, and Oro y Plata. I have been wearing my sample coins to work and by far the women at work love the Oro y Plata, Tsun Select, and Blues Brothers the best. Although none of them geocache, they are placing orders too for necklace pendants (minus the tracking #'s). My favorite is the Oro y Plata version, I think it looks really classy. I don't check in on the forums as much as I used to but I was looking at this thread today. I'm really sorry about your loss. I completely know how you feel. I had to put down my Aussie "Cowboy" in September of 2008. He was only 10 and had pemphigus foliaceus, he's lucky to have lived as long as he did. Boy did I spend some serious money on his monthly medications. He was such a sweetie and it's still tough to think about when I had to make the decision to put him down. Everyone at the vet's office knew Cowboy since we were there all the time, so they were all pretty sad too. We did it out in back of the pick up with me holding his head in my hands. He's the first animal as an adult I had to put down and I don't think I ever sobbed so hard. I could barely drive myself back home and my eyes were swollen for several days. My dogs are my kids. I just put my border collie (Dakota) down last September, she was 14, she was my first dog as an adult and she traveled all of the western US with me. Not any easier I'd give you an Aussie coin if I had one but the best I can do is give you a virtual hug and tell you that in time, you'll laugh at the memories and the crying will be less I know I'm going to have one heckuva a zoo waiting for me when I head over the Rainbow Bridge to see all my old pals Hugs to ya, tsun

I can tell you that based on the colors chosen, they will be very pretty If we're really lucky, might even get another coin for them to sell. I will be starting reservations for the new editions tomorrow after I get home from work. Those on Facebook have seen some pictures of upcoming versions. I will have all the information on how to reserve coins posted after I get home from work. I will keep the reservations open until Sunday evening. There will be future minting of more colors down the road but this minting I decided to try a couple of different combinations that I wouldn't normally do. There are a couple of "typical" tsun color versions also. I just want to say thank you to the kind coiner who sent me one of these However it came with a sheet of paper that asked me to sell the extra to benefit the Japan earthquake tragedy but there wasn't another coin. So in the spirit that the coin was given, I'll sell the one I was given to raise funds. I won't be able to do it this weekend but I can do it the weekend after. I will also list another tsun coin to go along with it. I have one of my Native Pegasus coins that was not available for sale (could only be received as a gift or used to raise funds), it's the Mother Earth Native Pegasus version (green). 1 of 11 made. Sorry to hear that I just put down 2 of my cats this past Friday. Joe was 20 and Kody was 17, they were pretty sick and I put it off for way too long as it was Hoping that the kitty chemo works and all goes well. tsun

Good to know :)I was planning to talk to the Helena IR down the road when I had some more concrete plans. I have contacted a couple of cachers here in Helena to talk about the coin event and form a small committee to help me out. I'm meeting up with them after 4th of July and then I plan to do some major groundwork. Helen, I'll contact you at a later date with ideas/thoughts. Now to get busy designing so I can fundraise tsun

Look what else I found to trade. I do not have anything specific I am looking for. All offers for trackable/unactivated geocoins are on the table to be considered. I just know that someone will appreciate having these. I believe this is the Soldier version. The one I have has blue ears and the red stripe on the front is glitter. And I noticed the finish I have is Nickel. Sorry. Did not take a picture and this is the only picture I could find to link to. If you need actual photos, let me know.
