Can you tell me how to do those kinds of searches? I just picked a couple in LA/Orange area and could only get a maximum of 500 on pocket queries. I was looking at GCJVZ1 and another using Disneyland at the center GC4B24 -- Also GCRK1K, GCMGTR, and GCWRHW in the San Diego Area. Not only does the LA area have the ocean stopping caches on one side, but you can see where the nearly 10,000 foot tall mountains put a stop to the caches inland too. You need to call an exterminator with that many bugs

In my opinion, and thats all that is and there may be a rule somewhere, but I think that its up to the cache owner to clean out his/her cache. Caches that are commercial in nature are prohibited.

I just started caching in Dec and I sometimes will look past a 1/1. I found 521 caches in my first twelve weeks of caching and there are still those easy ones that stump me ocassionally. I dont think that he was whining either, he was simply loging a dnf. I have a lot of dnf posts that describe a bit of the situation of why I thought it wasn't found. Were both new to the game, oh I mean obsession so we both have a LOT to learn. Your verbal thump. Now go think about what you said about that poor cacher who was just logging a dnf

the weekly Groundspeak newsletter will also list them starting withe the closest to your home cords i believe.

In your My Account page I believe that you can set up insta-notification of any type of cache and set it to notify you if there is a new posting, logged, note written etc. You can also set the search radius up to 50 miles i believe. I hope this info is correct, if not someone will correct me im sure. Actually its in My account then on the right there is a premium member box and in that box ther is a set up notifications, click on that. You will need to set up a notification for each hide type you want to get notified about. Hope this helps and I didn't confuse you worse.

I just love those log books in film containers that resemble a spit wad more that a log book and log books that are frozen solid or so wet they disintigrate when you try to open them. I at least put pen to "paper" on em though.

I believe that the venture is WASS enabled and only the 60 and 76 cx and csx have the SiRF III. Im not a garmin owner but I have heard good things about even the basic venture. garmins website explains in detail all of the differences between the models. edit for spelling
