  1. hmm - didn't mean to hijack the question.. :-) OK - a simple question: Which three countries will play in the first round of the FIFA WC 2010 along with Bafana Bafana?
  2. :ʞuıן sıɥʇ punoɟ ı FlipMyText.com That was fun!!! - and I found some nice new fonts from the site as well!!
  3. ˙˙˙ʇno ʇı pǝɹnƃıɟ ı ʞuıɥʇ ı But I cheated a bit - so no 'ding' for me... ;-)
  4. hmm - I know how one can throw the whole screen upside down - the school students used to do it at end of class time to confuse the next student who wanted to use that PC. hehe
  5. Cachechu on it's FTF run on event day this past Saturday.. This is at "MF2010 Pyramid Keeper" (GC25EA9)
  6. ...now that is low enough ok!!! hehe
  7. So Drix thought.... Ginger doesn't have a ladder and neither a bike... so keep her caches low.... between the rocks!!! hehehehehehehehe
  8. I was under the impression that a 'Gemsbok' IS an Oryx?
  9. Eeew!! Don't even start! This is how I heard about the death of Diana, the following morning my friend, walking to varsity, said: "Diana was on the radio this morning..... and on the dashboard, and the window......" I will never forget the year she died!
  10. Maybe Neil Diamond? but I wouldn't take a guess at a song either..
  11. Probably something from ABBA? What about 'Dancing Queen' Or if not so far back... I'd guess Queen. Most famous would be 'Bohemian Rhapsody'
  12. Who's scared? GR8!! Yes, since all geocachers I know have Porches... ;-) I'm loving this forum guys... looking forward to the pre-event activities already..
  13. You guys rock!!! Sounds great! BTW... My 4x4 Corsa goes everywhere!!! hehehehehehe
  14. Oh goodie!!! ...not that I prepared a question..... yet... hehe Give me a minute or two...
  15. It was ABBA. I don't remember the name of the album.
  16. 'vooruitbepaalde' ? 'vooropgestelde' ? 'standaard' ?
  17. PQs now have the option to search on cache attributes. There are 3 scuba caches in South Africa: D®ive the Bus, A Scuba Miracle and Bass Lake. There are a further 13 that require swimming. ..of which 'A Scuba Miracle' is the only actually 'hidden under water' cache.. ...and for 'D®ive the Bus' one has to do a wreck dive to gather clues to the final coordinates of the cache. Both these need some simple maintenance, although they are still there according to latest non-geo info. Owners to visit dive locatin in Feb/March.
  18. Not Dutch... they were created by a Belgian guy. I believe they are called 'Schtroumpfs' in French and I've seen them called 'Pitufos' on a Facebook group (don't know in which language that is). There is also a website where one can buy figurines where they are called 'Schlumpfe'. They were first created in a cartoon strip in 1958 which makes them 1 year older than Barbie. :-) 51 years = close enough CnC. You're smurf!
  19. Oh... and Discombob guessed younger than they are! ..I got a bit carried away there.
  20. The cartoons (television series) were showed in the 1980's... but the original comic strip is older, and not American.. I want a Sassette smurf... which I cannot seem to get hold of anywhere... you get Sassette with brown and with red hair - needless to mention which scarce collectable I'm interested in. :-) Bet you don't have her in your collection CnC!? The MacDonalds group put the bigger size smurfs in their kiddies mcmeal packs some years ago. The MacDonalds at the intersection of Beyers Naude & the N1 has two or three and could have made a fortune out of selling me just one Sassette from their toy showcase - but apparently they 'don't know' where the key is to give me one.
  21. hehehe thanks to CnC's girlie question, I get a turn.. With pleasure!!! Here goes: We know the smurfs best from the cartoon series on television. These showed from 1980. The smurfs are much older than this, however. They were first introduced as a comic strip. My question: How old are the smurfs really?
