Thats what I thought...(at least about the clock) but then it kills the values of the avg speed etc. (e.g. avg speed including the zero speeds when stopped for a while.). Mybe I didn't start it right but if Im collecting data on a route, can't I use the "stop navigation" to pause the collection of data. Put the unit in "standby". Or is this only available when you are retracing a route??

I noticed when the unit is logging the time is conituously running. There a key labeled "Stop Navigation" but its greyed out. Is this option not enabled?? I'd like to stop the clock at times, but keep things the way they are... Is this possible?
